It’s that special time of year again as the days grow colder and slayers all around the globe dream of eradicating zombies (but when isn’t that the case?). Riding in on his festive aircraft carrier, Commander Claus is back, bearing gifts if you can best him in battle.

Tomorrow we’re trying out another run of Faction Quests for Zombie Slayer! This event will ask you to band together with your fellow Slayers to complete different tasks varying in difficulty.

This run of Faction Quests will go from Thursday, July 11 at 9am Pacific to Monday, July 15th at noon Pacific.

For every completed quest, each member of your Faction will be rewarded with a special Quest Loot Chest when the event is over with prizes inside depending on the difficulty level...

A few weeks ago we made some small changes to Zombie Slayer with the goal of livening up the Fight actions a bit. We’ve reviewed the results of that change and we’ve come to the conclusion that there is still more we can do here.

To that end, we’re going to be making a couple more updates to ZS today:

• Increase Hired and Top Squad cap by 5 (to a total of 25 each)
• These 5 new spots open up at levels 100, 110, 120, 130, 140

For tomorrow’s Raid Boss we’re going to be removing the tiers much like we did for Viking Clan and Pirate Clan earlier this month.

If you missed that news, normally in a Raid Party there are three tiers of 10 players each, ranging from low to high levels. For tomorrow’s Raid Boss, there will be 29 spots open to all levels (30 if you include the Boss summoner). So no worries about your specific tier filling up, if there’s a space open on a Raid you can join it.

Today we’re going to be making a couple small changes to Zombie Slayer that we think will liven up Fighting a bit; we’re also going to be reducing the level cap needed to acquire all Hired Squad slots. Here’s what’s changing:

• Increase max daily attacks against another player from 40 to 100
• Raise XP limiter from 20 attacks to 80
• Change Squad/Hired max unlock cap to Level 90 from 130/3,000 respectively

Big news: we're excited to announce that this weekend's Faction War will be the launch of a special new kind of event! At the end of the war, the top 20% of factions in each division will receive prizes, instead of the top 20% overall. Rewards have also been updated for all prize tiers, including FP for all winning factions.
