"Your chat account has been disabled." For...?

How long does a chat ban last there? If permanent I'm just going to quit, since I have over 20 speakers and use the chat all the time. Surely 1 misplaced word (that I won't repeat for fear of the overlords banning me here to ) shouldn't result in a perma-chat ban.
