Address the Adaptive Technologies

Let me start here by saying that it is almost impossible for me to be objective in writing anything regarding the drivel written by the "No man can beat him" Icon.

How to improve the game? Well lets see get rid of the bots. Get rid if the autohealers. Have the Icon stop play others accounts. See when you are abusive to people, toss them out of your guild and block them. They talk. Yes they tell. They tell about the person that admitted in chat that they use an "Adaptive Technology", They tell about the people that provide their sign in info to the Icon. You know so he can play their accounts so they get their precious fake trophy. They talk about all of it. But, see Kano says they need "strong evidence". I know they do not want to do anything to the person who is gonna put their children through college and they will be red faced if some day when the evidence becomes strong or perhaps even overwhelming. Just remember I am the one that was informed about "short cuts". I have not pulled that one out yet. Nor do I plan to. But, that let me know that anything you have done in this game is tainted. Lots of money and shortcuts is the only reason you are where you are. Quite an accomplishment. When Big Mike was the highest level player he was respected and played a decent game. From what i can tell barely anyone in here respects you. I know I do not.

I have seen on my occasions when you and your thugs proclaimed you would drive players from the game. Well, congratulations. Its working. So many are leaving. They are leaving for various reasons. But, always among them is the rampant cheating and the perception that Kano favors you and the minions. That may or may not be true, but it is the perception. I would not accept it til recently. But now I see "Strong" evidence.

My suggestion for improving the game. Just make it a level playing field. Do not think you are the boogy man. You simply are not that important. Do not think for one second you can intimidate me. I laugh at you. Watching a person that acts like you is actually quite funny. You are like an 8 year old on the playground. Where I believe you were pantsed alot. I visualize you standing there with your pants around your ankles sucking your thumb.

Just remember we all know that all those so called accomplishments are tainted. Short Cuts and money.

Also can you please provide a listing of allowed adaptive technologies. As Lawrence has all but admitted he uses them. I would like to have the opportunity to utilize these also since they are allowable. But I am a little confused because the TOS seems to counter the allowable thing.

After reading the VC 2000+ wall, I can stand by my original post, on why some folks quit. They are constantly harangued by people who like to be victims. The friends of the victims should recognize they are abetting same.

With respect to adaptive techniques that are legal, first off you would need to be disabled physically to use them i.e. that is what they are for. Discuss that with support and/or Melanie. I am not going to share a private communication with Kano on this or any other matter, unlike Craig Day who has published remarks from Kano Support.

Lastly, inferring that I have a physical disability, to use adaptive technologies, or not having such, and using same, is a slanderous accusation with weasel words to slyly be on the border. I beat your "big mike" fair and square; only he and his supporters can't take a loss nor could they compete. In fact the techniques I used then are the same as Craig uses today. Only I was first in FB.

The saddest thing here is that only enablers are going to believe otherwise and the enablers should realize the sickness that they are allowing to continue. Some friends you are to a sick man.

 

So the term "allowed adaptive technology" refers to braille covered monitors for the blind, subtitles for the deaf so they can sing along with the game's soundtrack, and voice activated mice for any quadriplegics or double amputees that might play? That type of thing? Gotcha! Makes sense to Me. Do you actually think about what you write BEFORE you hit the reply button or is it more of a stream of consciousness type of thing?

No one "inferred" you have a disability, Kel -- even though the word you were actually looking for was "implied". Think of it in terms of sending a radio signal. When the signal goes out it's an implication. To receive that message is to infer what it says. Sometimes, people infer a completely wrong message (which is why so many people always wind up thinking Jimi Hendrix took a break in the middle of the song to go kiss some guy). I'm not even going to try to understand your use of the word "abetting" or explain to you how you used it wrong. I'd have better luck teaching a monkey how to type out Shakespeares greatest works... on an abacus... in French... with his feet. Suffice to say, you've used another word in the wrong context. If you're going to try to impress people with your mental prowess you should, at least, try to master seventh grade English first.

You didn't really give an answer, Kel. You submitted a large, awkward, random assemblage of sentences. The words that you, apparently, kidnapped in the dead of night and forced into this violent and arbitrary plan of yours clearly seemed to be posted in this forum against their will. Reading your post was like watching unfamiliar uncomfortable people interact at a cocktail party that no one wanted to attend in the first place. You didn't submit an answer. You submitted a hostage situation.

As to revealing communications to me from Kano, there is no presumption of privacy. As a party to the conversation I can reveal it. There was no request that the conversation be private. So once again, you are talking out of your butt. You are very good at that. You better get your facts straight before you type something.

As to your advanced whatever. I still do not see anything like that in the TOS that allows it.

As to the 2000 chat. Gee how did you read that, you are not a member. LOL. Since you are so a upstanding guy you have blocked me on Facebook. So Mr Self Proclaimed Genius, knowing you have lackeys everywhere we post there. Because we know you will see it. Plus we are not the only ones that noticed what happened. It was noted by many and reported by most.

Every single thing you have gotten on here is tainted. You may fool some. But, I know what you are and many more are finding out. My friend Mike left for various reasons. Wanted to jump in, as it is a holiday up here (or down here depending on where you live) in Canada so offices are closed and I apologize for lack of involvement on this thread as it looks like I may be jumping into this rather late but a couple things:

- thanks for your feedback around bots etc, it is definitely something that upsets us just as much as players and has been an ongoing battle since day one

- every accusation / report goes through the same investigation, some have data that supports claims (recorded by our systems) while others do not, action is taken against those that do and no action can be taken against those that don't but in all cases no further info can be given to those reporting

I would like to talk about the mention of "heal" bots though, since moving the heal link into the rivals we have received more and more reports of the use of heal bots, based just on the ease of access and ability to click. This may not be the right thread, but I believe changing that link to behave more like that in the header and/or disabling the link when not ready to be healed may/will reduce the complaints. This will likely not be wanted by some, but due to the number of complaints that we receive with respect to heal bots where the player is actually just mashing on the heal link from the rivals pop-up. Anyways, this is just me talking out loud and will log the rival heal link as an issue in our tracking sw and follow up this week.

Any thoughts on how changing the behavior of the Rivals Pop-up Heal link to behave more like the one in the header would be taken? That is the link cannot be click on when response is loading or we could deactivate it completely when you are not able to be healed anymore.

 

That could be a reason for some of it Kendall. I noticed you heal much faster. However, I also know that the ones that really stand out are from players that frankly are not strong enough to sustain attacks from much higher level players. In fact, some are so obvious a standing joke has been so and so has his healer on go get your xp. So he is being attacked by 4 or 5 players and never ends up in the hospital. Yes the bots are frustrating. Big Time!!!! If you play the game on a daily basis you see em. Funny thing its not just me although I am vocal recently. There was an incident this past weekend when alot of players spoke up. I know it has been reported by more then one person.

 

I have seen mostly players making political hay out of the heal button. For example, they know themselves how it works but their own health is not so high or their imaginative use of the screen or or or or and or ... as to use it for very long. Some use in their leveling and hunt while leveling that way. If you want screen shots of what can be done, PM me. I will not disclose tactics.

Perspective of knowing these combinations of things from experience, make complaints over a person healing quite specious and motivated by other factors, as I have said the "victim" complex is ripe and sickening frankly as they are to me, using game knowledge to make false accusations, semi-public, making the game itself less enjoyable for many. I am sure your support person can attest to the various bullcrap they get from various parties over something that just takes knowledge of the game to know about. We all do not know how others work their buttons but some assume the worst. I know we have seen patterning that suggests technology at play, when in fact its a legit thing to use (example, a tablet bounty hunting with a two finger technique, or adaptive technology for the disabled).

A certain faction all they have to say is cheat cheat cheat when in fact, they know what the party is doing, know its legit and well within the capabilities of both the game and the player. To me, while that is slimy to the max, it is also slandering you, the developer, and the game itself, not the player or any players involved. So that player for example, cannot invest in health to carry out a successful heal, while choosing to allocate their skill points to higher att/higher def/higher stam and higher energy, so a high level comes along smacks him a few times and he is done like dinner. Why give that person a break whatever to those who did invest in health? Or are alert enough to adapt to the buttons that are there, and have thought through setups on their screens to capitalize on them?

So you want to modify something to avoid the charges that are bogus to begin with? That is your option. It will not take away the weakness of the principal accuser and his continued attacks on the game and the competition that only he and his followers express purposeful ignorance of to make complaints to you that are known in advance as unfounded. That to me, is a non-problem problem and yes, you did ask me

I agree. I am not the developer who allows for same on a case by case basis. I actually think its "inclusive" and for that, they should be applauded. To the people who abuse it, you have a spot under a rock to claim.

Its a game. There are no friends in it per Mike, in his own words. I play differently, with friends and meet people to make friends, and allow myself to get stabbed in the back by folks who are not playing to make friends, only to use them. You are so naive. Mike left as another player and I were thrashing him for a change and going to pass him and humiliate him as best we could, and we could, LOL!!!!!, for what he did to us. He could not compete. Period. You will never get that hidden by other bs created by Mike to make himself look good. He is the ultimate coward to blame others for his own failure. He espoused so often he knew everything about the game, yet Polish kicked his butt in debate every time, yet did so with great respect until Mike showed no respect to Polish. Typical. Oh that is a good one. For a nothing player like you to make that remark. I was not hiding from him. I was beating the crap out of him and so was another player. He was ducking from us and yes, we killed him often. Yes he had to go off on traps to avoid our killing him LOL!!!!!!! He became learned on that, with no game reason except to avoid say Ruthy's axe. Oh you are sooooo funny!! His 12 levels a day caused him to bounce off me at the end, and he was dead game wise. Fat and dead LOL!!!!!!!!! Too funny. Thank you.

To the OP, I did feel it necessary to reply to a fan's remarks here. I do think that the "healing" issue to emphasize, is being used, similarly, to cover up weaknesses in skill point allocations. The problem remains of achievements as the poll indicates. The bot / alt issue you seem to have in control. You do have support issues to people who lack experience in playing the game.

Remember: its a game. Its not my person v. yours, its my pixel character v. yours. If mine gets beat, it gets beat. Unfortunately, many people have no ability to recognize that, needing to impugn a person's character to cover their own weaknesses.

I truly am. I should not have not allowed myself to sink to your level. I play the game fairly and do not need allowable whatevers to play the game. I do agree with you on one thing. People are always screaming bots this and mini that. In fact, to play the amount of mini's you are supposed to have you would need 8 arms. However, I do play alot and I do notice things that stand out.

I have searched all over and can find no reference that I have to keep any conversation that I have with anyone confidential. In fact, I have a very interesting private conversation that I might share. But, you know what. I am really trying not to sink to your level so I will not. You know taking conversations that you were not involved in but were made available to you that you have used to insult, degrade and humiliate people. DOI DOI DOI is really not a good way to make your point. But, is very helpful in proving my point that you are arrogant and believe no one is your equal.

So here is my plan. I am going to ignore you. Reasoning with you is trying to teach a pig to sing. Frustrates me and pisses off the pig. If i can get alot of people to ignore you maybe you will go away.
