I think it would be great to be able to reverse craft... Not just for Elite and Optimal items like you have now, but for all items... For a small fee, of course... For example, I'd like to craft power shields, and it would be great to be able to get all the Deep Diver Helms back that I accidentally used to craft power armor which I really don't need... :-/
This was brought up a while ago in VC. The Spirit Stag, that are crappy, can elite the drops into elite/legendary now(which wasn't option). The Pyromancer that was more beneficial to low income players or cheap people, is more useful making Muspell Spectre >>Damned Elven Queen. ( No reverse on Pyromancer, case in point like how your "Diver Helms" except is a Dragon Rider") But reverse crafting on both of these were shut down, no clue why Didn't effect me much so doesn't really bother me, but agree with you RedTurtleGames 100% even though smithing page will get more cluttered.
