I love raid bosses but this is too frequent. will mess up the game. Mi7ch this is a mistake.
I don't mind the raids but I feel they go on for too long, it seems like the rest of the game stops while they're on.
Keep the raids monthly, again, it's on the individual if they choose to join one or open one, it's not like they are a must do event.
It's not my call to make, but I have let the developers/content scheduler know how you guys feel. They are keeping a pulse on the Raid Boss and are willing to make adjustments if it comes to it.
Raids do not offer mindless leveling for higher levels on Lcn unless they are willing to pay alot of money for the privilege if one played Lcn to a decent level then they would know!
I like raids but because the xp ratio was not fixed this time I did not participate and go nuts like last time as they do not benefit me as much as being 'Lame' I believe someone said and attacking an LP 5001 times.
Yeah, raids seems to divide the waters. I don't mind them, and I don't love them but I use them for what I can. Can't see the problem in raids, would though not mind the raid period not being 8 days.
Just read through the link. Cut the website off. For example: if you're on Kong, cut the part which reads http://www.kongregate.com/games/kanoapps/mob-wars-la-cosa-nostra
THEN you have the important part of the link. Check that one. If you are converting from Kong to Armor or vice versa, just change all the "kv" to "ar". There are about four or five of them. Then the link is valid, no need to change numbers or anything like that.
if raids are going to be a monthly thing then there needs to be a ratio adjustment as Foxy, Jamie and Cap. have been saying for awhile now. It doesnt make sense to have released the new raids when this problem has been acknowledged by the developers but not resolved.
however since they appear to be here to stay. Could we also have a separate tab for raid bosses as they currently stack up on the top of the bosses under that tab and just make the page too long..... particularly problematic if you use a phone a lot, like many. It would also help, if like the normal bosses there could be an indicator next to the raid as to whether you have completed the min requirements.
But .... and for me this is a big but, they are too frequent. a couple of interesting comments above, one in respect to what happened in the old MW (and i have made this point as well) and another as to the fact that in reality there will only be a few days in between the raids;
the game is about fighting other mobsters. with the introduction of raids as frequently as they are coming then fighting will cease to be the core objective of the game. unlike bounty hunting which is a form of battle with mob, raids are just glorified bosses (we wont discuss the new BA here). There may as well be a player level appropriate raid boss so that players can summon them at will (there have been 4 already so these would suffice with an escalation of levels). its pointless making them an "event" . this would also make it easier to get a level ratio xp return. the format would remain but only certain bosses can be summoned at or by a certain level. essentially another type of (city) boss.
in my view the way raids are, and are scheduled to come means that fights will be done only for daily points and raids will become the norm. i think this will undermine the essence of the game. you just need to look at the positive reaction the developers got when they added the achievement for "fight kills".... this is what the game was for . look at the leader-board and see how many retired players there are, it should indicate something is wrong.
overall, the tiers seem to be working well, energy for keys has been good as has energy drop. fix the xp ratio and scheduling though.
dont get me wrong... i love the raid bosses but truly believe they should be a rarity.
I like the Raid bosses, but I hate doin well over 20,000 actions and only getting a "Common Weapon".
HOW is that even possible? I did less than 10 thousand actions and got a superior item...
I have 22 commons and only 5 superior.
The energy drops are also WAY DOWN compared to the last raids.
If you are not first in your tier, the chance of a superior item seems really small. Even if you do huge damage, but someone just does a little more. This is especially unfair to the top tier.

Mi7ch told us that first in tier gives a superior. The rest is experience.
Dcasso did the most actions and damage y a distance in a raid and got a common so I'm not sure!
Then that is a bug and he should complain to Kano. I've heard someone else who had the same thing, he complained to Kano and they would fix it for him.
There has been plenty of people who have done massive damage in raids and got nothing but a common drop, that section of them needs tweaking something bad, maybe top 5 performers are guaranteed a superior drop or something, i don't know, just a thought.
I've noticed bunch of people claiming got a common drop which is not the case there are 6 common items and 6 superior. The tabs of common/superior just makes it look that got a common drop sometimes. I know pirate pics, but same layout.
