For the past several hours, I've had a big white square in the middle of my Viking clan game. And for days before this, I had 2 Wal Mart ads on either side of my game. Has anyone else had this issue, and when will KANO do something about this?
I am so damn sick of these ads, ruining this game each and every week. I have added this pic of my viking clan. How the %%$###$%##$ can I play this game, I am really getting pissed off....
My buddies in KAOS helped me. If you are using Firefox, go to "TOOLS", select "ADD-ONS", then select on the left "PLUG-INS". disable shockwave, and the big rectangle moves to the back of the viking clan frame, and you can play it again....Still, I am getting real pissed off with MYSPACE for this crap...
Try refreshing the page. If that don't work close out the tab and reopen it. If that don't work after a few tries don't know what to tell ya.
Much obliged one and all - I just googled Firefox ad blocker, and that took care of everything. Appreciate everyone's help
Thanks for the tips everyone. It's important to remember that we have absolutely no control over Myspace ads (although we certainly wish we did.) We're constantly looking for fixes, but the best thing you can do (once you've made it so you can play the game, of course) is let Myspace know how frustrated you are. The last email address I could find for Myspace support was support@myspace.com. I'm not sure if that still works, but it's certainly worth a shot.
Ok, here is another way to get rid of these pesky ads...On the Myspace Page, goto "My Stuff", under Account Settings & Privacy, select Privacy, then un-select "Customized Advertising". This should take care of these ads...
