Kongregate Game Tags - Earn a Free Item!

Hey folks,

I have a small favor to ask of our players on Kongregate (and the other games if you're interested).

I often get asked here what Kano can do to help bring more attention to our games on that network and while we are limited in that regard, there are a few things that can be done to help us convince Kongregate to give us a promo spot to drive in some fresh faces.

One way to do this is to rate our games, and if you've done this I thank you humbly. If you haven't the process is pretty simple: below the game itself will be five stars, click on any one of these to apply the rating. If you wanted to give us 5 stars that would be excellent, but I wouldn't say no to 3-4 stars either.



The other way is via the tag system on Kongregate. Every game is tagged with certain categories that apply to it. The more tags in each category, the higher the game will show up when players search for it. So if Mob Wars - LCN or Zombie Slayer is tagged highly under RPG, it will draw in more players and allow us to push for a promotion from Kongregate.

Right now we're looking to get a bit higher in the RPG tag on all games, so if you could help us out and throw us a +1 that would be much appreciated! Any other tags you feel are appropriate, please feel free to give us a vote in that category as well!

If we can break into the RPG category then I'll give away a free item to all of the games on every network (so if you haven't checked out our games on Kongregate, now would be the time!).

Hi mi7ch, added +1 to RPG for Mob Wars. I think we should also give -1 to other tags above RPG to make RPG higher. What do you think about it? Should we do that? Will it affect your strategy?

 

Done, +1 and 5 stars for all 4 games.

 

There are certain categories that we're pretty well ranked in (such as multiplayer) so I'd like to keep those high as well.

If RPG gets enough votes it will pass the other tags anyways. I appreciate the creative thinking, though!

I rated the ones I play (ZS 4 stars, LCN 5), favourited LCN and tagged them both with appropriate tags the day I joined, 700 and 400 days ago. I hope this campaign helps you

Anybody know if you can link your facebook game with Kano,because it i asking for me to create an account?

 

You can sign up for Kongregate with Facebook, but since it is a different network you would have to create a new character.

 

if i did that wouldn't i be breaking the rules as it would appear as if i had a alt account?

I can't find this...I play Mob Wars La Cosa Nostra...Kongregate...server 2...where do I find the rating stars for mine?
