My intention was not to imply that you were "knocking" Kano. I think the vast majority of us can agree that Kano handled and to this point continues to handle this like Rock stars.
In my original post in which u chose to use me as an example as one of the reasons why u dont want to play with MS players anymore was merely an example of the point/question I was posing to Kano. Kano stated that the game was brought to Kanoplay in its entirety I was merely pointing out that it wasnt and was curious as to why. I also stated that as much I will miss seeing my retired account on the leader boards...it certainly wasnt the end of the world.
Not to beat a dead horse...but if I were to argue that I wanted my retired account on the new platform it would be for some of the same reasons that u have stated such as all the time, hard work and money. The difference in what you and I would be asking for is that the transfer of my retired account would have zero negative impact on the existing game environment because A) It was born to and played its entirety in the same environment B) Its no longer an active account.
Now your mature active account being transferred to a entirely different mature platform and game environment is a completely different story. Your account being transferred will automatically knock every player below u level wise on the new platform down a rung. Your stats in every category will affect every players on the new platform with similar or lower stats in every category. What about these players hard work , time and money?
Youve stated that youve been playing FB for over a year now, I feel safe in assuming that youve gathered clan, Allies and formed rivalries...no? How would it be fair to your current FB rivals if all of a sudden you show up overnight with a bigger n stronger account? This is simply one example....I assure you they're countless other variables and intricacies that would come into play. Now magnify this by potentially thousands, obviously if they transferred your account they would have to make this option available to everyone...no?
So in closing Raforta, I both understand and appreciate your wants here and on the surface it sounds easy and fair....Im certainly not criticizing u for it, but in the end it simply isnt. As i stated previously....this whole MS thing has been unfortunate for all involved but negatively impacting even more players in an effort to alleviate the situation is not the answer. We gotta just take our lumps and be grateful that we have the options we do. Basically make the best of a bad situation.
