get rid of the bounty delay

YUP exactly we take our time, where is their time to say OK we understand, I wouldn't mind if a actual DEV came onto these threads and just said 'HELLO'

 

lolol you never know, maybe 1 or 2 of them HAVE and we just dont know it...i know if I were a dev i wouldnt be letting anyone know haha could you imagine how many private messages would hit their inbox as soon as they said " hi, imma dev" haha

Honestly though, I agree that we could do a better job here in the ideas forum, which is something we're working on.
As for the list delay, I appreciate all the feedback on this, and will make note of it.

At one point Kendall (i think it was Kendall...would have to check my emails), this idea was actually on the desk in front of the devs, after that all i got was a list of things as to why it wasnt getting looked at (holidays, sick people, changing forums etc etc ). Yes.....there was ideas being implemented before during and after these emails...lol

Yep....easily one of the biggest injustices in the game ....but just one of many. In all honestly....dont bother trying to level to much....the more ya do...the more u are restricted and limited. Im still trying to figure out why I can kill players thousands of levels with a single blow when they are foolish enough to put themselves on my rival page. But I cant kill some tiny level in the entire 24 hrs they were on my page. Then we get to listen to them whine about us being bullies.....lol If Kano really wants to help the bully talk....than fix that. If a level 10k attacks a level 15 because they were on there rival page...dont u think it would be a little more realistic if we just looked at them and they died? Or just leave it as it is and let us thump on em for 24 hrs and run em outta the game, a win is a win and who wants the newbs to keep playing anyways right? lol

 

Quite honestly sir - talking to you is little more than an exercise in futility. Pimp is trying to discuss an issue that is important to him, something that he has likely taken a hit to his stats on, and all you can say is you will make a note of it. I'Ve had this same issue. Note that KANO is really offending it's clients here - and clients such as MYSELF are really becoming tired of the arrogance of KANO and it's agents.

When your clients don't play - you don't get paid. Just a heads up.

IDK...but it wouldnt surprise me if they were both the same person....Ive had both Kendal and Eric the devs respond from each others emails speaking as themselves but signing the others name.

Dan is Wonderbread, Melanie is Melanie, Dan (after Cara left) was the support person before Melanie worked for Kano she does what Cara ( wonder woman) did, and when she is off he does his job and hers, since he trained her, Melanie many times adds to the TGIF I imagine it can look confusing

I don't like the delay where I cannot see a flash of a bounty, even ones I list !!!!!!!!! It might have in part something to do with the ping rate of your ISP and the throttling they can pull on you, but my experience says something in the game is just not kosher ... on purpose? or by accident (fixable in code)? Am afraid that is a game secret I think.

 

probly just a glitch in the matrix haha one of those things that nobody likes, nobody can explain and we just have to deal with it

 

At one point Kano tried to blame it on diff players on diff servers, that may be the case to some extent.....but it goes far beyond that and is the lesser of the prob....they have purposely governed how quick a bounty will appear after a player gets X amount in a certain amount of time. But then again they have also promised transparency.....and we see how well that worked out.

 

this thread was just showed to me and for a long long time now ive wonder y getting bountys is so hard now,ive noticed if i log in and get 15 to 25 bounty kills to quick it gets to the point where i have no chance to get anything, cant even see the bountys at all, and its not just me half my faction crys about it all the time how they cant see bountys and its to a point now where its doing more harm then good..and is one reason i dont play as much anymore.. and 100 per agree with pimp on this we should not be punished for being a good player in any part of this game, good hurter r good b/c they put time and effort into it... just sayin..so if there anyway way to make this better pls do..

 

ehhh i think its fine, gives other players a chance at catching bounties they would never get a chance to get otherwise....and this is coming from someone that gets delayed alot. i like catching bounties just as much as the next guy but its no fun when youre watching bounties fly and get the first couple hits in and keep watching stronger players catch them all. i dont mind sharing with everyone else, besides, its not like the higher levels need the kills or coin all that bad....playing as long as we have, we've collected quite a bit of both

 

Yeah..the last thing we want is players to actually earn anything, how about Kano just give free bounty kills to everyone that cant/wont do for themselves. Perhaps Kano could work a deal with Obama and call it the "Affordable bounty kill act".

 

nobody said i didnt want you earning anything or anyone else....keep the game fun for all, not just a handfull....big deal if you get 15 bounty kills instead of 18 because of a delay, you STILL have a better chance than most when a bounty pops up, delayed or not

 

Not to argue....but you dont have to actually say it. The fact of the matter is that doing it this way does exactly that. Whether its 1 bounty or 3 dozen....if there is a delay then you are essentially penalizing someone for succeeding and handing a freebie to someone else. It doesnt matter whether if I "STILL" have a better chance....players should never lose any type of earned advantage.....thats the whole idea of leveling up and getting stronger....no? Not the best example but Im guessing you wouldnt want to take a cut in pay just so it will line the pockets of lower payed or less capable/experienced co worker.

Its not like the higher levels need the kills or coin that bad? How do they need it any less than anyone else? Everything at the higher levels cost that much more....no? If I miss a bounty because of the delay....what ensures some needy lower level gets it and not another high level who according to you doesnt need it? Its not as if all bounties are created equal nor is there usually time to pick n choose whether a bounty is valuable enough to go after and have it count towards the number of bounties u get b4 the delay kicks in. If I happen to have a while to sit on the bounty page (rare anymore)and put all my years of playing to good use it sucks to get a bunch of teeny bounties, have the delay kick in and then have larger bounties start going to others not because they are better but because Im being penalized.

I dont believe in any type of delay/handout/penalty but in this case it would be better if it was based on amount received/won(amount dependent on income) than just the number of bounties caught.

 

its more than just a delay, the stronger you are the more likley you will be to get pushed to the side to let somone else attack...
