I appreciate your reply. Im a bit confused when u say "it doesnt hurt the player", In my experience...although tedious...its was possible to take players out in def. stance even with 1 stam attacks. It seems odd to me that it wouldnt be even easier to do while attacking with 10 stam. Im left to wonder if you werent just let be because u were in D-mode and there were plenty who were not in Def stance. If I had been playing and the arena was moving as fast as it was I would have left you alone as well until the easier pickens were done.
Unfortunately....even though you ranked better than u had previously I would imagine you didnt get any rewards being that u didnt get your 100 attacks in? I could definitely see that happening alot considering most active players or ones in Defensive stance more than likely didnt have time to get their hits in. Kano didnt mention anything about padding the defense at all...would be interesting to know if they did and why they didnt tell us if indeed they did. But it does stand to reason that when attacking with a 10 stam attack the attacker is going to be taking that much more damage as well...especially if their target is in Def stance.
Ive heard a few players actually say they like the new system because they placed better than they had previously(even when not in Def)....but once again Im left to wonder if it was purely random chance, even under the old system there would always be a few random players that ranked well simply because they got lucky/slipped through the cracks.
In the end....I think its pretty obvious that a 10 stam power attack is way to much as the majority of players due to their level/amount of health vs the amount of damage being done in a single attack simply dont have time to react . Also as u said....u made it to where u did because of your Def without doing anything.... no disrespect....but that does seem a bit whack....lol. It seems a bit counter productive that many players will rank well while not getting their minimum attacks in to be eligible for rewards even though they may have wanted to.
All in all I think its a neat idea ....it just needs to be either dialed back considerably (maybe a 2-3 stam attack) and or....either dont enable the attack until much deeper into the arena or have the ability unlocked after a certain number of attacks in an effort to promote activity. At the very least players should be able to withstand more than a couple of seconds of attacks.
Ive also heard talk about there being less sniped kills, is this because the arena went so fast and all the snipers were killed before they had a chance to even get going. It seems to me if most players were using 10 stam attacks the likely hood of a sniped kill would be the same as it was when everyone was using one stam attacks.
