I doubt current legit players would go back and change things for one lil side aspect of the overall game whos outcome is at least partly based on randomness. Some of my concerns have been listed previously and the majority of responses Ive gotten to date would seem to validate them. In addition to the stamina issue .... in regards to the highest of levels my next concern would be alts specifically designed/created to play in the arena for its high reward or for teaming up on a rival in an effort to help their main account. To be eligible a players must only be level 750, not only are there many alts already in excess of that level and who have very little need for the "perk" killing stamina...in addition new accounts can easily reach level 750 in just a few days and be built specifically for causing havoc in the arena.
As far as accounts being built slowly being more strategic or more powerful..... thats just silly as it offers no benefit other than being done for less money.
After the XP needed to level jumps, the need for stamina increases significantly as it is the most important/valuable attribute /resource in the games ....hence its SP cost. In VC the Xp needed to level doubles @ 1850 and increases even more a couple more times, alt accounts that could care less if they continue to level past those points can dump nearly everything in to the "perk" categories...when u consider that stamina for the more All around or balanced account cost double the skill points that offers up a significant advantage. The lead developer has stated the whole idea of "perks" is to balance the different types of builds, in its current form that may be the case for accounts at or near the same level with different builds but would seem to actually hinder the highest of leveled accounts that must be stam heavy to continue to progress in the games and the need for skill points in other categories/attributes lessen.
As the devs have said....they are watching the results and will tweak as needed....guess well just wait and see. Over time the higher levels with better stats should win more often if things are truly scaled properly....if not than something is definitely outta wack
