Aztec High Priest, Silverspike, Silent Assassin Blacksmithing tips:

I doubt we did. I went and checked PC's Blacksmith lists and found that every Ship only used Ships (and gifts) to create it. As far as I can tell, Mateys always use Mateys and sometimes gifts. Weapons ALWAYS use Weapons (every gift used thus far has been a weapon...every gift has been a weapon save Love is a Battleship and Captain's Daughter to the best of my level 1370 recollection) so we should be able to rule out Juggernaut fairly.

So we know Ancient Divesuit + gift + item.
If the gift is the level 175 item:
Ancient Divesuit + Ancient Chest + Atlantis Weapon
1 x 1 x 7 = 7
But if the non-gift is the level 175 item:
Ancient Divesuit + gift + RPC
1 x 40 x 1 = 40
40 + 7 = 127 combinations, including the posted ones.
We've pretty much ruled out Ancient Divesuit + gift + RPC...as seen in an earlier post.

So there goes the first set. It appears the non-gift is the level 175 item. Since we assume the Silverspike uses only weapons, the Merman and Mermaid are rules out, leaving the RPC.

But since I've gone through most of that already...Perhaps I missed something. It's more likely I screwed up there than with the above 7 trials, which I closely inspected to make sure the failure was from an incorrect recipe instead of from lack of cash or items. If I lack cash in making the Silverspike, then we have a SERIOUS problem.

And I *think* I'm reading it right - have the Treasure Hunts been discounted? I'm stuck in a different one right now and can't try anything from that level for at least another day.

I am now thinking that one item is not a weapon. Could be the gifts, could be the not-a-gift, but I think it's not a weapon.

 

You can't rule something out just because it was used in a different recipe. In Viking Clan at least, the Skull Dagger, North Star Charm, and Viking War Helm are used in at least two different recipes each.

The not-a-gift HAS to be a weapon. Every gift UP TO AND INCLUDING the level 175 unlock is a weapon.
The Treasure Hunt Challenges do not have an Atlantis version. Atlantis has the Captain's Gambit Challenge. Of the 3 items you can get from it, the Ship and the Weapon are both too strong for this recipe. The Matey would work: Sea Nymphs - 9Atk 15Def. Does anyone have it? If the Sea Nymphs are used, then the recipe is Juggernaut/Ancient Divesuit + Ancient Chest + Sea Nymphs.

that matey would lose a def point.but i doubt any matey is involved in this.if we rule out all mateys and all ships and just go strictly weapons with stats lower than the spike in both areas(22 atk 14 def)how many items and combos does that leave

 

The stats don't have to be lower in BOTH areas.
Um...You'd have:
Ancient Divesuit + Red Pearl Compass + gift.
But since all the gifts a level 175 player can get have been tested (with Juggernaut, missing a few but otherwise tested), then we are wrong somewhere with our "only weapons" hypothesis. So we need a hint.

 

they ones i tried, including the lion figure head failed saying no match
i didnt rule it out based on the fact that it it was used elsewhere, but by the fact that i tried it, i hadnt seen duplicated items used in different recipes, so i menttioned it was used elsewhere

the ones i dont have, i couldnt try, i may have typed info in the wrong order
i know what i meant to say, wether it read that way, oops, lol

and i got the seanymph, will try working on that shortly

Because all we KNOW is:
Atlantis Blacksmith (Juggernaut or Ancient Divesuit) + gift + ???
and one of those last two items has to be unlocked at level 175 - Red Pearl Compass, Merman/Mermaid, Ancient Chest (a gift)
So we have 40 gifts to chose from (41 if you count the Ancient Chest) and like 12 random items from Atlantis.
2 Blacksmith x 1 Gift x 12 Atlantis
PLUS
2 Blacksmith x 41 Gifts x RPC/Merman/Mermaid
gives 270 possible combinations!
Seriously, KANO, this is the longest you've made us wait for a Blacksmith hint in Viking Clan AND Pirate Clan!
