The cash reward is based off 30 times your hourly income.
You don't see the join button because you're already in your own Syndicate. Other friends visiting your Syndicate will see it.
If you joined the arena before it started you would have been entered. If there is no ranking on your page it means you were not entered.
Thanks for the post ACE, this exposed a bug in the system regarding some players' setup with 0 strengths. The fix is in and now live. Good news...
Reward tiers start for the the top 20% of the Battle arena player base. People that participate in the arena that don't get into the reward tiers...
