*Giggles* I did the same thing AND blasted Justin Timberlake in FB with nasty grams for pulling our games. Like he needs a freaking social network *rolls eyes* Gimmie a break!

 

Yes, I understand the speed at which you are doing this, and it is appreciated, don't get me wrong!
I look forward to you having a proper and well rounded team meeting where you consider the other option of transfer packages to another platform.
I for one won't be playing on an isolated site where the slayers bitterness towards the game and their distaste at each other just rebounds off everyone else.
Sorry to seem so negative, but it's just the way I feel.

Now , just as food for thought , what if we do want to merge our MS and FB accounts , would it be possible ?

 

Unless every myspace player was transferred to the same platform, we would not be playing the same game. Having everyone transferred to kanoplay, has us playing the exact same game. We don't lose any stats, mob count, weapons, or anything. This is the only option that would allow us to play as is. If you didn't like the myspace platform, you should have just left anyway. As far as bringing in new members, new people have no effect on my level 1987 character. How many new myspacers do you think were joining anyway? Migrating myspacers to any other site would totally and suddenly disrupt the dynamic and gameplay of the site we migrated too, plus you would lose your achievements and stats. Its really selfish to not consider the players already on those networks. People overreacted at the news of myspace pulling games before they gave Kano a chance to see what they would have to offer. We got a bunch of panis and knee-jerk reactions, which never solve anything. When kanoplay is up, we can play practically like we've always been playing, so for someone to complain, its obvious that they didn't like the myspace environment anyway.

 

sounds a lil bit egoistic, but k...guess you play VC,PC or MW, right?

and thats the Point, all will play on as earlier, maybe without those who wasnt able to register...

so how will ever a new User be able to get a squadsize of 1000 in those Apps where its needed (VC,PC,MW) ???

Isolating the last active players in Nomansland cant be the right solution for the future

I don't want my character transferred.
I just want UNs and ingame $$$ to build a NEW character on a NEW platform

Except for any new players coming in will have no undeads, and only other people who signed up AT THE SAME TIME to fight against. Only existing accounts got logged on the Kanoplay site, none of the inactive accounts you use to get undead wins on were taken over.
Sure... it'll be okay for a while, but it's not a long term workable solution.

 

I am just so glad I never played games on myspace, I left that network and my little personal account along time ago and went to facebook and have never looked back, just checked that link in the last post here, and YUCK

 

This is not true. ALL players data, inactive or not will be carried over. Stay tuned we are trying to get this released as soon as possible and provide more info when we can.

I personally do not wish to be balled up on kano play. Kano offered a transfer package and said when it was finalized we would be able to transfer to either facebook or kango. I chose face book and started playing that account. I wish to hold kano to their word. I want a transfer package as was discussed. to be fair some of us put money in our account. and we should have the ability to choose our platform as should all of us. My space closing was not our choice. Those wishing to go to facebook should be allowed and given an equitable transfer deal depending on their levels and their investment. Be fair please. thank you for your time.

 

I really considered quitting the games. the i looked at my MW profile page "Joined 1307 days ago"! That is a hell of a lot of time invested..not to mention some money...but a whole lot of time playing EVERY DAY. I am happy to be moved to Kano Play just for the pure fact that everything I worked so hard to build up is remaining intact...if i would of had to start over....I would not have continued to play

limbo its more like being benched on the side lines wanting to get back into the big game...hope we all hear some thing soon...

 

they never said that we would be transferd dont know where you read that all they said is that we might. they were trying to find the best solution and they did kanoplay for myspace. just because you guys arent getting free stuff dont complain they are working s hard to get kano play working wich WAS and still IS the best option and the transfer package you probably would have started over then complained and say i want my old level back because of how much time/money i spent on getting to that point. so in a way there is no good option unless you stop being selfish(not just you but everybody complaining i wanted that) and open your eyes an see what they are doing for us. they have been up literaly all night trying to do the best they can to help us and people complain and it doesnt make scence just exept the kindness they are giveing us to move all aconts intact cus if it was any other company we would probly not have an acount anymore because they most likly would have dropped us and not have done anything.

also kano.play is going to be the exact same as iut use to be just under a diferent URL that he game is being hosted

 

Wait so kano play should be up today?

The Team at Kano apps has been working VERY hard to make sure we all at MS didn't get screwed!. Unlike MS that didn't G.A.F! ..... thus far they have succeeded in doing so.. NO the new Kano play for MS players isn't up & running, but least it will be!, with all our games profiles in tact the way it was before the MS shutdown.

1- Kano employees have worked hard & long hrs to make sure there customers are happy!
2- opening a stand alone site is very costly! they rent there server usage from Amazon, @ an hourly rate! unlike MS/FB/Kong who pay for there sites with advertisements ect.. The new site will be all on Kano...

so yes show some appreciation, that at-least Kano cares about you all! ....be happy, & be patient your game will be back up & running soon........

 

Guys? Why make Kano work even more harder? They have to go manually one by one to transfer your characters to either Kong or FB where mistakes could happen like both characters get accidently lost forever. Moving to Kano's site will be easier, much quicker, and intact.
