[KanoPlay] Lights not working

lights still arn't working on mob wars

 

It's the weekend Pretty. And developers are off and on during this time. I will again let them know to take a look at it and see if they can figure something out. But it may not be till monday until they can get around it. Just do what others are doing just keep checking back on them from time to time to see if there is anything new in it.

 

FYI, we have no control over the ads that MySpace puts on their site. Please let MySpace know that these ads are affecting your play on their site.

As for the flags/notifications not working we are really not sure why this is occurring. It seems Lord Breakfield solved his problem by clearing his browser's cache but there are others reporting that this is not helping. I wish I could reproduce the issue on my computer. I will certainly post back if a solution is found and please do the same if you solve this issue on your end.

Lights aren't working again and clearing cache is not helping now.

Theres something else wrong.

Response from a dev 2 days ago... it sounds as if there is no solution because this issue cannot be reproduced on their end...

 

We are still looking into it Jared, I just have nothing new to report at this time. Hopefully we find a solution sooner than later as I understand this affects game play for many people.

 

Hi Jared, are you still experiencing issues with the alerts?, can you please specify if the alerts work at all, or if they stop functioning after a certain period of gameplay.

 

Since the date of the original post, I think I have seen the lights come on once or maybe twice. As soon as I log into a game, the lights aren't there. They aren't there and then go away after a certain period of time. The only one that does not seem to be affected is for sps, but all of the other alert lights are not working, at least for me.

 

myspace issue!

the lights on myspace friend invite stoped working around the same time!, then sometimes they do work! as with the MW's lights........ so this probaby means mobwars lights are a myspace issue & not a Kano apps issue!!.

I would of submited this when it started happening but for reasons i won't go into, with the $ i've spent on these games i'm permidently banned from the forum. I'm in Toronto using one of the 1000's of foreign servers world wide i have acess to, this IP is in Europe so don't bother banning it too.

KANO, the issue with the indication lights is still not fixed, also clan invites are also still not working either. Could it be because of the use of ad blockers?????? Just throwing out a suggestion....

I doubt the light issue has anything to do with ad blockers, Dutch... the problem started almost a month ago for me, but I didn't install an ad blocker until this week when some players, including myself, had a problem with an ad blocking Kano games this week... not sure what the invite problem might be... I don't think I'm having any problems with mine, but I know other players are...

 

Still looking into this everyone, sorry about the inconvenience. If anyone on Myspace notices their notifications working again, please let us know.

 

myspace light have been working now for me a couple of days, Myspace friend request/Msg/Note...... in game messages, gifts/invites ...only one that doesn't work 100% is syn light, but just seems to be lagging.

as i had stated, it seems to be a myspace issue. lights started going on the fritz the same time myspace friend invite/ message/ notification lights did .


I have a 64-bit computer, & normaly use Internet Explorer 64-bit, but have tried G.Chrome, firefox, nightly ect.. & the issue was the same on all, so the myth of clearing your history/cookies, doesn't work

 

Some are still having this problem.

 

KANO, are your technical peeps still looking onto the problem, or have you guys given up on it, because it is not fixed, and we do not hear from you guys anymore.

@Dutchman We are still looking into it, although it appears to be something Myspace is doing on their end. It's very bizarre.

@TP Thanks for letting us know. Have you changed anything recently, or switched to a new browser, or anything you can think of that might affect the issue?
