It will cost you 5,680,446,191,040 coins and 2 stamina to prepare this next counter attack.

    Confirm Cost: 5,680,446,191,040 coins

How is this calculated? Gordon Helvete Hammer has 42 attack(s) on you (In 1 day). You have 52 attack(s) on Gordon Helvete Hammer (In 5 hours).

    Bit extreme i.e bug?

  2. nope.no bug here.

judging by the looks of it,he attacked you 42 times in a period of 24hrs.you hit him 52 times in 5hrs.dont forget counters count as attacks against your opponent.

5 Trillion for a counter???? Are you serious? I have battled many opponents and have an edge on them of a similar or much better magnitude i.e. 20 ... and its near 75% of their bounty at most. This is a bug. It needs to be fixed, period. It should certainly not rise this far this fast. Nope.

Wow 5t is a bit extreme, I know it goes up a lot once you have 1 hit more on the opponent then they have on you, but thats extreme. The max is usually goes to is the opponents bounty price.

Yep ... take a look at this one:

It will cost you 644,547,740,415 coins and 2 stamina to prepare this next counter attack.
    Confirm Cost: 644,547,740,415 coins
How is this calculated? Deb Nike of Somaltrace has 3 attack(s) on you (In 30 minutes). You have 451 attack(s) on Deb Nike of Somaltrace (In 25 minutes).

    Kel,
you DO have 451 attacks against her 3... I agree with the earlier example tho, even an axe slap counts toward increasing the counter price against you.

I am, in another thread here, trying to explain that attacks during a bounty put the lower level player at a disadvantage against the bountied player for this same reason.

I thought they capped counter total at the bounty price... maybe Gordon was bountied a lot and his bounty went up that high??

  7. axe slaps arent suppose to count toward the counter cost though.

You cannot set a counter attack on someone who hasn't previously attacked you within the last 24 hours. Attacks are battles only, axe slaps and bounties are not counted.

-Yes the base cost of a counter attack is capped at your opponents hitlist price.
-Axe slaps DO NOT count as attacks in this calculation.
-There will be an increase/decrease to the base cost depending on the number of attacks you have against and the number of attacks your opponent has against you. The more attacks you have compared to your opponent, you'll see a higher counter price.

But Eric .. what happened with the first example? That was amazingly expensive v. the second example. The bounty of the first person is only around 100B higher than the second person, if that, and the attacks/volleys were in one case "normal" where the cost was in the trillions, and in the other case "extremely" one sided, yet the cost was capped at 75% of their bounty. This does not seem normal at all i.e. its a bug.

In that first example do you remember how many counter attacks you had already pre-set on your opponent. Any number of counter attacks already set on an opponent will be a direct multiplier to your final cost.

We are currently reviewing the counter pricing system, we'll keep everyone posted in the boards if there are any upcoming changes.

That would have been my first counter attack to set on them! And of course last ... if by accident! That is the scary part of the counter going awry: mistakes happen when you are battling quick, and the counter can happen by mistake, bam, you are broke!
