There was a time when I would find no one on between about 9 PM PDT and midnight.... then around midnight a lot of people I wouldn't see during the day would be playing regularly during the "graveyard" shift. During the day, the chat was constantly running and it was hard to keep up sometimes with all the posts in LCN Kong Chat. Now, it seems the chat is constantly dead and the only hitlist activity is from the Godfather. During BA, people used to chat and discuss what was going on in BA and it looked like the numbers of participants was growing from each BA to the next. Now, fewer and fewer people are signing up and those who do sign up hardly participate and it seems just sign up for the free exp you are awarded for "signing up". Part of this games allure was the chat. People used to discuss the game and "war" with each other. Now, if there is any chatting going on it is about the latest movie or the weather. There is nothing to dicuss about the game anymore that anyone seems interested in. LCN needs to take a hard look at the game and start looking at some new changes that can re-spark the interest, at least on Kong. I understand it is a business but people who are not playing certainly are people not spending. Everyone has different ideas about strategy and how to build their mobster, but maybe Kong could look at making advantages to several different strategies such as make it easier to level for everyone and make it worth while being a higher level. And make it easier to level as far as time that it takes so that more people are interested in doing it. Make moving forward an advantage and not a disadvantage. Create new activities to be here for and for something to do so people have a reason to play. Maybe make a BA that is separate from the current BA and call it the SURVIVOR CHALLENGE and make it geared towards being able to stay alive the longest like the old BA where there is a advantage to having a high defense. Make the current BA better for leveling so people will want to participate just for the exp for attacking even if they place poorly. Make SW more attractive with better exp and faster regen time on tokens. The more people play, the better. And if everyone has a chance to level faster, no one can complain about being at a disadvantage. Make better crafts that use items that have long been replaced and that just fill up inventory lists. Make it so a level 5000 still wants to do the Chicago boss for the drops so he can craft them into a really good item. And make the items good enough to fit the level of the crafter. Don't offer an item that takes 100 drops for an item that is less than what is available in a job drop in Moon. Create reasons for higher levels (anyone higher than the player they are helping) to help join bosses of lower levels and be more active with all players. Give players a reason to want to invest in this game. Not everyone will spend. Some never will. But many did and used to but the incentives now are not there. Players need goals, competition, and interest in the game to want to play and spend. <<< that is a FACT.
I cant say I agree with everything but I do like how you offered suggestions on ways to make the game better. Brainstorming ideas is never a bad thing. The main thing I do agree with is making the game better and growing the player base. I think however to grow on Kong it is just as much on Kong/Armor as it is Kano. Maybe it's time on Kong to add a new badge/achievement to generate new interest. A badge which can't be earned in minutes but one which would encourage a player to login and play a few times and build up the habit of playing. What would it take to get the game on the main page for a week so it stands out? Is there anything Kano can do to help market the game on Kong/Armor?
Well, please keep in mind that the people who have in the past talked non-stop about inappropriate topics such as regarding a sexual nature, spamming non-stop, or just constant name calling I have muted. So there are quite a few people I have muted. ;-)
If the people in the "idea" department of Kano are similar to most of the people in the "I don't really care" department found in these forums, no wonder there are no fresh ideas being suggested. Everyone seems to talk about how the game needs new interests and new challenges but does anyone have any suggestions? It is one thing to complain, it is completely another to be part of a solution.

COUGH! ???? Not sure if you were being rude in the way you informed me or just being silly..... I will assume you were being "friendly". I have never seen this in the forum and thank you very much for the link. I try to look for things there are so many posts and so many games all at once, I get a headache sometime just reading one topic sometimes, let alone all the Topics in all the sub rooms of all the games.
And Jades - that is an awesome link! What took you so long to send it to me???? LOL That has a ton of old and new ideas I have never even heard of before. I wish I had known about it a lot sooner!
Yeah the ideas board is the place to go to weigh in or offer suggestions on the development of the game! Lots of players try to move things forward.
And then I take them to the devs to get them implemented! ...which is where things tend to slow down a bit.
