Hello. I have a question regarding gaining power attacks on co-op bosses. The game doesn't seem to remember which power attacks have been unlocked on co-op bosses. I have been posting co-op bosses on the Jobs board, they get the required 24 extra attackers quickly to gain the next power attack, I get the bonus to attack and defence for that boss, and then when I come to hit that boss again, the gained power attack is not available any more. The next time I hit a co-op boss, the power attack gained the previous time is lost and I am at exactly the same point I was before. There is no permanent benefit gained. This is happening with all of the co-op bosses. Is this a bug in the game or am I doing something wrong? Any advice would be appreciated. It is frustrating to gain a new power attack, and then have to do it all again, and again, every time I hit the same co-op boss, with no long term success. Thanks in advance.
I can ask around, but just to clarify are you losing power attacks on the same fight? The power attacks reset after you defeat a boss, so you need to unlock them on a per-fight basis. If that is what's happening that's totally normal, but if the power attacks are resetting during the fight, then there is a bug that needs to be looked into.
No, it is not on the same fight. It is between fights. So from what you have said, it appears that what is happening is normal behaviour. However, on most (if not all) of the co-op monsters, the power attack in use is not the basic one that is set when you first start fighting that monster. Somewhere along the way, it has remembered that a higher power attack has been opened up and uses that higher power attack. What I want to know is how to get the game to retain those opened power attacks permanently. Is that even possible? Otherwise, there doesn't seem to be a lot of point in having the higher power attacks as you can't activate them all during a fight.
the power attacks are unlocked by the number of helpers you have on any individual boss...once that boss is dead and you start a new one, you need the same number of helpers to unlock those power attacks for that boss again
Yes that is my understanding also,and I usually have a full boat, and really could care less about power attacks,I am just in it for XP, drops and coins and the items at the end.
