Currently I have 4200 loyalty points meaning i can buy gold tier items that I want but am also only a few hundred off of some platinum items which are way better. It says, however, that I'm only 2% of the way towards platinum tier. Bearing in mind I havent purchased any FPs before how many would I have to be looking at buying to progress to platinum tier since it seems Im never going to get there from just doing GPs alone. Thanks.

It takes a ton of cash to get a single Alexandrite tier loyalty item. Myself and others figured out approx how much way back when they started loyalty rewards. That was a long time ago so my memory fails me but i think it was in the 200 dollar range. Im not going to try and sway u either way but keep in mind that a single item makes very little impact if any. Its also important to note that loyalty items arent evn close to being the most bang for your buck and its very rare that their numbers get updated to be more inline with the numbers of other currently available items. Hope this helped.

Thanks a lot, I'll give it a miss that sort of money is just ridicuous for a clicking game.

I actually found that spending my loyalty points on lower tier items, added more punch to my character than adding a single Gold item.

the only problem is you will out grow those loyalty items especially if you buy items that become available for fp purchase

Add silver mateys. They are good value and will last a very long time.

In the long run what is going to give you more of a punch are the higher attack and defensive items. You waste your loyalty points on lower tiered items because you can get more in bulk because of how many loyalty points they cost will only be throwing your points out the window so to speak. Your best solution is always go for the higher attack and defensive items. When it comes down to it those will rarely get replaced unless your items are just all that high which i highly doubt unless your a major cc player.

Im not saying don't use your loyalty points on gold tier or diamond tier or platnium tiers. I am saying don't waste them on the lower tiers of bronze and silver even if you can get 50 to 100 at a time. New players make this mistake because they see they can grab up a lot of these using loyalty points. When if they would take the second to look they can get better stats of those two tiers the lower ones on any boss almost. Now all the tiers above them use your loyalty points the best you can and the wisest way you can to help improve your character you will have to learn how to do that which is fairly easy if you know where to look in the games.

Not sure how this thread got found being over a year old, but for VC any gold to alexandrite will never go out of date in usable stats. There is a very small difference in stat's compared to point cost.

Don't know either i was just replying to someone who was possibly wasting their loyalty points in buying bulk lower tier items which will become useless real fast.

I never thought about that but it makes sense. Thanks for the info as it will enhance the game play :)

it prob all depends on your level also, as time goes on you stop using things.

Good point, As players level up, and play, they acquire better items. Those would push lower tier loyalty items out of use.

They will indeed last a long time but still pretty useless if they only give a few more att and def than your lowest mateys.

So don't spend on bronze or silver, not even the mateys. They will be useless over time.

    Just do some math.
My lowest mateys are 16 att and 17 def

Current gold matey, the Auric Admiral, 4000 LP = 216 att and 281 def

For me that's +200 att and +264 def

Current silver matey, the Argentum Specter, 250 LP = 22 att and 28 def
    I can buy 16 for 4000 LP

    For me that's 16 * 6 = +96 att and 16 * 11 = +176 def

So 16 silver mateys give me 104 less attack and 88 less defence than 1 gold matey. And the difference only gets bigger over time.
