Forum Activity Program Season One (October - December)

I'm worried that this will fill the forums with low quality posts just so that people can fill their monthly quota... :-/

 

I don't want that either, which is why I specified that posts have to meet a minimum standard of quality to be counted towards the monthly/seasonal total.

So, I guess the question is... How can you track how many "good" posts you've made? (And if you are "on track" for the month)

 

For now you can check in with me if you're curious. I have a growing list of participating users along with a tally, so if you want to know shoot me a PM and I'll tell you if you're on track.

 

So is there a breakdown as far as posting criteria? I mean in terms of the post counting towards a reward, what are the specifics for a post to count?

So these, small prizes, will they include weapons and such that would benefit all of us at our level, or just dinky prizes that would not be worth our effort? How about some DJ's thrown in there for a prize

i think its a great idea to boost the activity but the criteria of what is a good or bad post may need to be outlined a little or people will try their luck

If a post looks like it has had more than ten seconds of thought behind it, then it will count. I'm not asking for paragraphs, just try to add something meaningful where you can. Occasional posts along the lines of "I like this/don't like this" or "this is good/bad" are fine, but if that's the majority of someone's contributions, then those won't count towards the totals.

The monthly prizes will be smaller in scale, like full attribute refill tokens that can be redeemed with me, or small amounts of Favor Points. The prize for successfully completing a whole Season will be much larger.

Were it so easy.

 

Hey Mitch, I hope that counting and categorizing the messages will keep you as busy like the Kano Kranium. This was a 5 sec thought.

 

That was a one-time burst of insane levels of activity; since this is spread out over a three-month period it will still take up my time, but not as much as the Kranium.

 

Sorry, that won't count, Gazember. It has to be at least 10 seconds to be considered for this promotion. Cheers!
