Ever since I began play Vikings 9 years ago, I've been wondering. Each Chieftain gives you 20 warriors and 10 weapons. Does that mean 2 warriors have to share 1 weapon in a Combat/fight? I always come to laugh, when I imagine 2 viking warriors running to battle and have to share 1 weapon. Imagine how one warrior hit an enemy and throw axe to his mate so he can attack .... roflma.. That's not realistic at all. Yes I know, some may say, this is a game and not real. Still many of the stories used in the game, are taken from Books of 'The Vikings "Old Norse Saga's" (tales). Names, tales, locations are real and used in game. To my knowledge in time of Vikings each Viking/warrior always had 2 weapons and a shield or and a helmet. 1 of following: Sving axe, sword, bow or lance and 1 of: Pocket axe, knife or arrows and 1 or both: Shield, helmet Here's the big Question to KANO: Why don't you equip each warrior with 2 weapons and 1 helmet/shield like real ??
It would be nice if it was a little more authentic. Being a Historian this irks my a$$ every once in a while, and then I get over it. For a while.
