With recent changes that have been made to the game, there is an option to hide them, but it only lasts for the current game session. Why? I was annoyed at having to close the Karousel each day, now I simply ignore it. At least I can use it if I want to. I do not have an iOS phone. Why must I stare at an advertisement for a promotion that I cannot take an advantage of multiple times each day? This is SERIOUSLY AGGRAVATING!
The iOS promotion should only need to be closed once in a 24 hour period, although I am looking into a lengthier option. The "Karousel" should stay closed until you refresh/clear your cache as that preference will be stored in your browser. edit: The iOS promotion now remains closed for 72 hours instead of 24.
Sigh. AGAIN: If have have hidden the Karousel, why can't my computer remember that? When I shut down my computer and pull up LCN again, it remembers my login info so that I don't have to enter it each day. Why can't it remember to keep the Karousel hidden then? It does not sound as if my cache is being cleared/system is refreshing if it is remembering my login info... Maybe I'm just dense. AND: Okay, so now instead of hiding an offer I CAN"T TAKE ADVANTAGE OF every day, I have to hide it every 3 days. This doesn't sound like much of an improvement to me. That's like posting an advertisement for a beeper or a rotary phone, VERY ANNOYING (even more so than @cricket_jumper's signature.
i'm really tired of seeing a promotion EVERY DAY that i can't take advantage of. is this promotion going to last forever? it has already been "offered" for at least 2 months.
it seems whether on my phone or at my computer that this resets after each session nit every 24 hrs. i also expect that there should be some memory of my choice to hide information
exactly. i just can't wait until it's offered on android. oh wait... we don't even have a mobile app yet in VC, so i guess we need that first.
