Hey everyone, In case you missed it in the TGIF of two weeks ago, later today we're going to be performing some maintenance on the servers for Viking Clan and get them migrated to a new set-up. This should happen just before noon, Pacific Time. Overall the impact on your game will be minimal; the only thing you'll notice is that your alerts and game history will be reset along with the amount of gifts you can send. If you notice anything else strange, please don't hesitate to let us know either here on the forums or in Support. Thanks!
I seem to have found a problem - several of my chieftains have been dropped from my clan since the migration - tt seems like it was people whose bosses I was fighting. Is anybody else seeing this?
I need to dig in a bit deeper - I have found the problem when trying to do further damage in boss fights that I'm already in, so it occurs to me that these might be fights I picked up off the chatline. These might not have ever been my chieftains, and instead the public toggle for these bosses just got reset.
Game history under "HOME>GAME HISTORY", where shows exp/coin/kills etc. in last X hours not there at all for a lot of people.
Loss of game history was to be expected with the server migration but it should have started tracking again as soon as the process finished. Thanks for the tip-off, I'll get our network guys on it.
You have already helped the maximum of 30 friends in the past 22 hours. You may help out more friends in 10 hours.???? I only helped 7 friends.... Is anyone else having this problem?
It's 24 hours from the first assist, so you still might be within the time limit which would account for why you can't help any more. If this doesn't go back down within the next 10 hours make sure to contact Support!
I have also been running into bosses that were posted on the job board and the public help toggle was turned off by the server upgrade, one is about to expire and can't do a thing about it... you really should give a free extension on those bosses that were affected by this as it is not the host's fault.
