too much protection for low levels

  1. now if this player here was big for there lvl then allowing this to happen is only shielding them from the bounty because after even just a few it can jump from 6 to 8 digits.
lord is my cousin and we've been testing for a few days to see just how many bounties it takes for a lower level to become untouchable and free to bully those in range so higher level clan cant protect.i had him make his upkeep match his income so his profit is 0 for the lowest possible bounty prices.

from 9 digits when profit was ZERO to over 2 TRILLION when upkeep was lowered.

too much protection?i think so.if my cousin were a bully at his level no one would be able to protect anyone from him cause his bounty is simply too high.

This change has been around for a while now. After the 10th bounty the price sky-rockets. If I remember right, this was done as a compromise for the higher levels.

  3. its too much protection.especially if this player were a bully they have free reign cause no one can afford listing(not even fielding would want to bounty that much for a low lvl :D)

Well, maybe this shouldn't be discussed so openly. People might get ideas. lol

But I agree with Atheistic. There should be measurements to keep the bounty from skyrocketing from Millions to Trillions just by changing your upkeep. And as he said, few to none would be willing to pay that much for a low level.

  5. What did you compromise with the higher levels Eddie? Did you originally set up the game to have bounties exponentially jump right after the first bounty for lower level players?

No, it isn't that the price jumped after the 11th bounty

(and this is when he HAD a profit)

AS, when you say he lowered his upkeep, how much was it at that time? Was it a rather low profit? Then that bounty cost is ridiculous.

The bounty didn't jump after a certain number of previous bounties!!!!
If you read the post you see that AS gave you the cost for the 11th bounty when there is NO profit for lord. THEN AS gives the cost for that same bounty (the 11th one) WHEN there is a profit for lord!

  8. its at around 200MILL for him

Just to put things in perspective, my profit is ~66 billion but my bounty cost (I believe I have had no bounties in the last day) is 454.480 billion.
And ~36 billion profit gives me a bounty cost of 245.937 billion.
    That's just weird.

Well for the first 11th bounty the Profit was 0 or close to Zero. And then the Profit was increased from, let's say 1000 coins to 200.000.000 coins. A jump of at least 200.000% And the Bounty Price went from peanuts to certain bankrupty. Not exactly fair if you ask me, but a wonderful tactic to make people reconsider listing you on low levels.

  11. profit was exactly 0 during the 10 listings

Well, the skyrocketing bounty is self-explanatory then. The increase can't be measured in Percents, cause 0 is the empty number. There are no percents possible, with 0 as starting value. Any increase in coins is either defined as 0% or ∞%. Anyway the percentual increase is an irrational number, if I remember this kind of stuff correctly. No wonder it screws with the bounty price really bad.
