Im beginning to not like the thread rating system or maybe its just the way its used. Do threads that employ this rating system have a shelf life...or is it simply up to the moderator to decide its been around long enough? Ive seen some threads/ideas get shot down pretty quickly in the name of "bad ratings" when it doesnt appear it was posted long enough to get a enough feedback. Ive seen threads/ideas that get no feedback and like 2 0r 3 good ratings that have been around for a couple of weeks that get approved Im also not liking the fact that as soon as its deemed rejected or accepted the thread is closed....whether its accepted or rejected i would think Kano would still want feedback one way or the other. Isnt the proper way to use the forums to search for a related subject and comment there rather than starting a new thread and making it even more difficult /confusing to search for related threads? Seems a bit counter productive to close threads....especially an idea thread. If I want a member to elaborate on an idea or perhaps to propose an idea that might make the threads idea a lil better and turn around its rating....I would have to start a completely diff thread??? IDK The inconsistencies in length of time left posted and and the flawed rating system just seems weird. I just saw an idea that was accepted that had no feedback whatsoever.....it had been around awhile but had very few viewers, it probably got lost in the middle of a heavy posting time. I didnt like the idea and was going to be the first to reply but found it to be "accepted " and closed. It had to do with allowing friends to ask for help on someone else boss. I think this is a lousy idea . We just got the boss feed cleared up by getting rid of the share reward posts and now were gonna clog it up again with multiple requests for help on the same boss? WTH? why dont we just let our friends do everything else for us as well? Hey JJ...wanna go kill my rivals for me? Hey Grim...do me a favor and do my adventure helps...thanks bro. Whats next...Kano selling their own bots/script? hmmmmm
I agree completely. I don't think a lot of people still realize you can rate the thread either. But there have been better ideas posted and they do get turned down and then the ones not so good get passed and approved.
