Player Bans August 16 - August 22 As a reminder, the following numbers are permanently frozen accounts, and don't count temporary freezes. FB: 6 KPs2: 13 The majority of permanently frozen accounts are frozen for being a shared or alternate account. This is something we actively investigate, and we appreciate players reporting suspicious accounts to us. If you have any questions or comments about a frozen account, please direct them through Support as the Forums are not the place to discuss account freezes, because of the sensitive account information involved. New Limited Items! A new week means new Limited Items! Here’s what’s up for grabs: Kano Play Chat! This week we rolled out a Chat window to Kano Play servers 1 and 2. The World Chat still exists and functions exactly the same, this is a just a little bonus for our players on Kano Play! This is still a Beta version of the Chat window, so expect some quirky things to occur. We’ll continue to iron out the bugs on it, but for now go ahead and try it out! New Achievements! We released new Gamer Point achievements to the game this week. This is a lead up to even more in the coming future. Happy hunting! New Location! There’s a new location coming this month! TGIF on Thursday? You crazy Canadians! So as you have probably noticed, this week’s wrap-up is going up on Thursday as opposed to Friday like it normally does. The reason for this is simple: I’m not going to be here! I’m taking a trip across the border to Seattle for the Penny-Arcade Expo meaning I’ll be out of town over the long weekend. Long Weekend! As I just mentioned this coming weekend is a long one, so the Kano/Apps crew will be kicking it Labor Day style. Our wonderful volunteer mods will be extra vigilant this weekend, though, so don’t think you can get up to trouble just because we’re not around! New Battle Drops! We released some new Battle Drops to the game this past week. These drops are for levels 11k. Support Report with your favorite burrowing, nocturnal mammal and Answerpreneur, Aardvark! Happy Thursday players! By the time you read this I will already in Seattle and gearing up for the multi-day gaming extravaganza known as the Penny Arcade Expo . Woo! Mister mi7ch and myself will both be attending, so play nice while we're gone and try not to traumatize the back-up team of devs who will being helping out with tickets while we're away. They're like puppies; eager to please, but fragile and easily frightened. Also they need frequent walkies or it's puddle city. I'm kidding of course. But you may want to keep some paper towel on hand. Anyway! Between PAX and the long weekend we're likely going to be a bit backed-up next week, so please be aware that responses to tickets may take longer than usual. Nice to know that new content is on the way. As for player bans, do you have numbers for Kong? I know that there are tons of alts on there, many used to fill up clans as the number of real, active players is most likely less than 500.

Well Polish you were right as usual. I may not do many posts in the forums but I do feel like we are treated like children sometimes, we are promised lots of things to keep us quiet but often they don't actually appear. Most businesses tend to promise and over deliver, why can't we just have expectations set accordingly. VC is supposed to be a strategy game but you can't base strategy on pure guesswork you need to know what is around the corner and realistically when it is going to happen. I have just spend a month, like most playersof the game, expecting a new world with no results or direction of when the new world will appear. Not good!! BTW Polish the wife has just asked who is polish as in 'wood polish' for cleaning the table!!! lmao

LMAO! I actually get that a lot. I also get the reverse...there are some players who ask for the "axe polish" gift just because they like the sound of me being axed. I suppose now that Ive played so long I could change my name to "Polished Pimp" I also agree that it would be nice to have a better sense of things before they happen. The new characters are a prime example, we know they are coming but we dont know when...how do we know whether we should buy one of the latest ones or not...only to have another come out next week. Another good example is new worlds...I dont know how many times Ive crafted all my drops only to have a new world come out right after...leaving me to do an old adventure again multiple times before i can move on to the new world and even get dailies. Wouldnt be that big a deal if I was much lower in levels but at the higher levels its like maneuvering a cruise liner in comparison to a lil runabout
Too right bud when a new world is expected we try to second guess blacksmith recepies, get our latest adventure drops to the right amounts and save for new empire. It's just a let down when you have 'All your ducks in a row' and it doesn't happen. I also understand the difficulties in new releases Mitch but what I was trying to emphasise is the setting of expectations. I also saw the skinny which said the new world would hopefully land next week (after the update). However today is a week after the update, hence my post.
just got to laugh they say there going to give us new things at the end of september but running bit late with it, but they are pumping out battle drop all the time, like martin said be good to know what to do in blacksmith, well thats my moan over for a few days
