Player Bans June 28 - July 4 As a reminder, the following numbers are permanently frozen accounts, and don't count temporary freezes. FB: 11 MS: 9 The majority of permanently frozen accounts are frozen for being a shared or alternate account. This is something we actively investigate, and we appreciate players reporting suspicious accounts to us. If you have any questions or comments about a frozen account, please direct them through Support as the Forums are not the place to discuss account freezes, because of the sensitive account information involved. Here’s what’s up for grabs now: What to do if You Find an Exploit Optimally, all games everywhere should be airtight, but unfortunately that isn’t the case. The reality of game development is that there are cracks, and more often than not the players will find them first because the amount of people playing the game always outnumber the amount of people making it. So, say you’re playing one of our games and you find an exploit. Now, being the morally upstanding person you are, you might wonder how to bring it to our attention. Send a ticket in to Support and be as descriptive as possible. If we can recreate the exploit using your instructions, then you’ll be rewarded for helping make the gamer better. It probably goes without saying that if you decide to use this exploit without reporting it to us, then you will be banned, no exceptions. We’d prefer that didn’t happen so if you find an exploit, please report it ASAP! Support Report with your favorite burrowing, nocturnal mammal and Answerpreneur, Aardvark! Happy Friday, players! We had some issues with the Kano Play registration system this week -- a few of you logged in only to find yourself with a brand-new level 1 character. If this has happened to you, please contact me in the Support Center . Your account hasn't deleted, reset, or lost, it's just been decoupled from your login information. I can fix this pretty quickly if I know what I'm looking for, so let me know! This is also true for any remaining stragglers coming over from Myspace - if you or someone you know had an account on the Myspace platform but haven't been able log into it on Kano Play, shoot me a ticket and I'll track it down for you. Cheers! Aardvark Kano Play Update You may have seen the post in the forums by Kendall already, but Kano Play now accepts Gravatar for custom avatars, a request we saw from a lot of our players. If you want to use a custom avatar, head on over to Gravatar and sign up for an account using the same email address you used to register on Kano Play. It takes a couple moments for Gravatar to sync, but after that you should be rocking your custom picture. Kano Play accepts PG and G rated avatars. Looking good!
