Player Bans July 5 - July 11 As a reminder, the following numbers are permanently frozen accounts, and don't count temporary freezes. FB: 15 MS: 19 The majority of permanently frozen accounts are frozen for being a shared or alternate account. This is something we actively investigate, and we appreciate players reporting suspicious accounts to us. If you have any questions or comments about a frozen account, please direct them through Support as the Forums are not the place to discuss account freezes, because of the sensitive account information involved. New Limited Items! A new week means new Limited Items! Here’s what’s up for grabs now: Support Report with your favorite burrowing, nocturnal mammal and Answerpreneur, Aardvark! Happy Friday players! I hope you're staying safely inside and gaming instead of out there in the treacherous heat and blistering UV radiation. Should you need to venture out for supplies, don't forget your SPF 60 solar ray repellent. I never do, which has granted me the amazing power of being able to illuminate distant objects at night by shining a flashlight on my skin. The theme in Support lately has been around tightening up our features to prevent possible loops and exploits, as well as better systems to locating possible problem activities as they happen. This should really help us to reduce response time and increase our level of service. And lastly, while we are on the subject of possible violations, there seems to be a misconception that cheaters can only be caught if they break the rules during Kano/Apps office hours. Fortunately, this is not the case. We have a variety automated check in place that can shut an account down regardless of the date/time, and while manual investigations do usually take place while I'm at work, they are based on game data that is being constantly collected. Depending on the type of activity we're looking at, records can stretch back weeks or even years, so if your dastardly plan is to start cheating as soon as the clock strikes 5pm Pacific Time, please don't.
