FB: 10 MS: 4 Kong: 0 As always, we are committed to keeping our games fun and fair for everyone, and will continue to ensure that players are playing fairly and within our Terms of Use by swinging the banhammer where it needs to be swung. If you have any questions or comments about a frozen account, please direct them through Support as the Forums are not the place to discuss account freezes, because of the sensitive account information involved. Facebook Offsite Game Policy Change Facebook announced a change to their policy regarding offsite versions of games on Facebook that took effect December 5th, 2012. You can read more about the policy change here, and although the changes were very minimal, you can read about how this will affect players using the offsite version here. Proposed listing restrictions for low-level players We've had a number of complaints about newer players being able to list higher-level players with little repercussion, and as such we've proposed a change to help with this. You can read about it by clicking here. Gift Pruning As you may have noticed, we recently trimmed a bunch of the older gifts from the gift list, as the list was getting rather out of hand. We haven't removed any gifts required for crafting, and will also look into re-introducing some of the removed gifts from time to time as a vintage or mystery gift. Updated Moderator Policies There have been quite a few discussions in the past few weeks regarding moderators and moderation. To help with this discussion I've updated and posted our moderator policies. They're in FAQ form and are meant to be easily understood, but if you have any questions about them, feel free post in this thread or message me directly. Celebrate the upcoming holidays by getting some sweet items and free experience! The calendar runs from 12pm PST today (December 14) until December 17 at 12pm PST. Private Messages in the Forums As some of you may know, one of the features available to you in our forums is the ability to send private messages to other members, including Moderators and Admins. This can be a great way to communicate with other players who participate in the forums, especially players who may play on different platforms. Unfortunately, although we do our best to respond to most communications directed our way, we are unable to guarantee responses to messages sent in the forums, and as such I highly recommend contacting Support if it's a support issue, or emailing me at community@kanoapps.com if it's a community or forum issue. I've been receiving quite a number of Support inquiries though Forum messages lately, and although I have been responding to them, I will unfortunately now need to direct players to contact support so that these inquiries go through the proper channel. Using the appropriate channels for the appropriate requests will make the process more efficient, and ultimately result in everything getting where it needs to go. Known Bug: Mobile Boss Drops Because of our awesome community, we discovered a reporting bug for the FB mobile version of the games. Unfortunately, the mobile version isn't currently reporting when you receive Boss drops. Fortunately, however, players still receive these drops in their inventory, there's simply no notification of their reception. We're working on a fix for the bug, and we appreciate your patience while we do so. Support Report Hey Players! Exciting times here in Support. As you may have heard, we are in the process of setting up and testing a slick new ticketing system that will eventually take the place our our current, email-based support. In other news we've made a minor Support policy change: simple requests like reports of widespread known issues or possible violations of the Terms of Use may not each be responded to individually. You should get a confirmation message that we received your report though, so you'll know it didn't get lost in the intervoid.
