TGIF! I hope everyone has had as pleasant a week as I have. The nice weather has held out, and is actually been rather hot for us. I'm personally looking forward to Saturday, as I'm participating in Colour Me Rad in Vancouver, a charity 5k run where they toss dyed cornstarch at you. It sounds crazy, but is apparently quite fun. This week was much busier on our end, so let's take a look: Updates New Limited Items New Limited Quantity Items Player Bans FB: 3 MS: 1 As always, we are committed to keeping our games fun and fair for everyone, and will continue to ensure that players are playing fairly and within our Terms of Use by swinging the banhammer where it needs to be swung. New Chat Interface and Funtionality A few weeks ago Facebook changed how the chat feature worked in Groups. This ended up upsetting a large number of players as it disrupted their established communication channels, which we understood to be quite frustrating. Because of the reduced functionality of the Group Chat feature in Facebook Groups, we've prioritized making our in-game chat function easier to use and more useful. We pushed out a change this week that should make it more useful, and will continue to improve the chat based on our observations and community feedback. You can read our post about it and provide feedback here. Battle Arena Battle List Tweak We made a small tweak to how your Battle list is populated in the Battle Arena. The list will now populate 100% randomly, as opposed to prioritizing inactive players, as this was causing some problems with player variety on lists. Game Gurus A few weeks ago, we announced an exciting new volunteer opportunity within the community: Game Gurus. Game Gurus are essentially experienced players who will be helping new players by providing knowledge and answering questions in dedicated Guru areas of the forums, as well as other areas.
