Ok,as it was posted a few months back, stam refill cap was limited.

    http://forums.kanoapps.com/showthread.php?7634-TGIF...-this-week-in-dev!-04-06-2012

The limit was never publicly specified therefore how was anyone approaching the limit to know?

And if someone was already over and never had to refill their stam, how were they to know?

But in all reality the refills are PAID for.

You don't spend favor points expecting a partial refill.

    You expect a full refill.

Some pay real $$$ for favor points.

So some pay real $$ for a full refill and get screwed if they hit the limit that was never publicly specified.

Any refills bought with favor points should always give a full refill.

You wouldn't pay for 30,000lbs of bananas and only get 20,000lbs?

You want what you paid for.

Not sure how it would cause unbalance as was mentioned in the update announcing refills would be capped but not specified what the cap was.

Anyone with that stam earned it and they have to suffer for playing too smartly?

    Come on Kano.

  2. Not sure smartly has anything to do with allocating one's skill points to stamina, but I do agree that if a player so chooses to invest in stamina with their skill points and then purchases refills, they should be awarded with a full refill. To do anything less would be unfair and, imo, dishonest on Kano's part.

Ya, they call it a stamina refill, and it only is if like you have 240 stamina or less i think. I agree with him on this, if we pay for a stamina refill, we should get a whole stamina refill, not a partial refill, a whole one.

how smart is it to keep adding to your stamina if not getting full refills? I check my refills every time. Sounds like negligence on the players part to me. Kano did announce that they were going to cap stamina refills and that anyone who might be affected should contact them.....obviously they were talking about the highest of levels. I saw the post and I also contacted them as i was instructed to do. Not Kanos fault if someone doesnt pay attention and to do as instructed. At that point the player shopuld just have to live with THEIR mistake.

I do think Kano should have made it to where the cap couldnt have been exceeded....but the the onus still falls to the player. I would imagine that over time the stamina would still regenerate fully so there still getting some bang for their buck....but obviously Kano cant allow players to buy unlimited amounts of stamina or the game would go way out of balance for obvious reasons that any moron should be able to figure out

To begin, I wanted to quickly quote Kendall's original post:

"As we continue push out more stamina rewards and boosts, it has put more strain on the balance of the game. Viking Clan was released over 3 years ago, when it was built we in no way planned for all the additions, new locations, extra bonuses / boosts that have since been added to the game, as we continue to make new changes to VC we sometimes have to revisit old mechanics and adjust for the balance of the game. This recent adjustment to refills is no different."

As mentioned later in the post, this update affected less than 10 players, and those players were encouraged to write in to Support so we could deal with them individually. There are still very few players affected by this, and if you're one of them we'd still appreciate it if could write in to support and let us know.

Like Kendall mentioned, the issue developed because of how the game was designed three years ago. We have since added tons of boosts and bonuses that make getting Stamina and Energy even easier, and because of this a cap on refills was needed to keep the game balanced. I can certainly appreciate players feeling upset about the cap, but the reality is that the boosts/bonuses we have added to the game have necessitated the cap.

Again, this change will only affect a very small number of players, and if you're one of these players and haven't messaged us about it yet, please do.
