I was dinking around in my armada message feed and noticed there was now a link that read "chat with armada " on the top right of the window...it was followed by a couple lil icons i hadnt noticed before. I see that the link took me to the side chat under the armada tab...but what do those lil icons do/represent? I also noticed that somehow i unintentially submitted a message in the armad feed (side chat) that read "griffon message"....what does that mean and how did I do that? By clicking on those icons?
I don't quite know how to explain it, being that I'm not a developer, but it sounds like you stumbled on a certain test case for chat which is normally not visible or accessible, which is why you were able to see what you saw. We went in a cleaned it up, so it should be all fixed now. Thanks for the report!
I was playing in PC last night way more more than usual these days(arena) and got my first real dose of all the new chat stuff in a actual playing environment. Sy...but I didnt like it at all. There is simply way to much going on with them and they are just to much in the way to be user friendly while playing. There is the obvious things such as no names, taking up way to much room(regardless of where u locate it), the lack of editing or deleting .....but by far the worst thing was moving the WC from its old location (up top)to its current location on the side. It was way better the way it was and the way it still is in VC (please dont change it in VC). Its just way less cluttered, easier to read and to get to. The new WC and the side chat are also way to similar in the way they look...which makes it a bit confusing especially if u have them both open and overlaying one another. In addition the filter is wound up way to tight. I swear it would "detect spam" every other message regardless of the content of the post.
