I'm pretty sure this one will be an absolute non-starter especially for the devs but, I'm going to throw it out there anyway. How about a weekly reward similar to the daily reward but, instead of stam and energy, give out mob. Two ideas here but, both are similar so, I'm just going to lump them together. I recently got my 1k regular mob and it was a real chore. At times, I thought for certain, I would not make it. I see other players that have been in the game longer than me that are still struggling to get their regular mob filled. Whether it be because they are in war mode and less players will mob with them, they get on the hit list a lot, they have less time to play, or they aren't trying as hard it really doesn't matter. The fact is, it is a struggle. Idea number 1 - Give new players x number of generic mobsters if they play at least once a day for an entire week until they reach 1k regular mob. I'm thinking 10 a week would be reasonable. Not a lot but, better than nothing. They could collect those mobsters at the end of each 7 day period. It doesn't need to be a huge number but, I think it would help them achieve their goal a little sooner and get those last few mobsters in that they so desperately need to be able to compete in fights. I know these generic mobsters couldn't help them with challenges etc. but, I'm sure the real mob they can surely and easily recruit, would cover that and eventually, one day, they could accumulate more real players as mobsters. Idea number 2 - Same concept but, give 2 hired guns to people that play at least once a day for an entire week. I know we get loyalty rewards, loyalty boost, bonuses, and fp from game play to help us with that but, I think anything that encourages players to play at least once a day is a good thing and let's face it 2 hired guns a week is not going to impact Kano's revenue nor is it going to give a player full mob over night. Those that pay to get 1k hired guns are not going to wait to get them this way and those that play for free are not going to pay for the hired guns anyway so, why not another little something to encourage daily play? The rules are simple for both ideas. A player would have to play for 7 days before they could collect the reward. If they miss a day, the clock resets. If they don't collect on the 7th day, they lose the reward. I like polls so players can show their support or lack thereof in an quick and easy way so, go ahead and give it a vote I also love to hear what other people think so, I hope this poll will get some comments regarding how everyone voted
the principle of this idea is good, find a way to let ppl gain 1k mobs faster as a temporarily solution until the games r very big. like when u only have 1k players on kong u need to generate a dynamic/playerbase first, letting ppl get 1k mobs easier is supporting it.
Idea 1 can't work, since generic mobsters aren't just numbers, they are real accounts you are mobbed with. It would be silly to automatically mob other accounts with yours, since they may not want to mob with you. Besides, you actually need active mobsters for help, bosses, challenges, etc. Idea 2 is not a very good idea either, since it is a good feature of this game that pay players can get 2000 mobsters fast, but free players can also get there, but slower. It is going to impact Kano's revenue IMO.
As much as I like the idea of getting to 2000 more quickly I'm not for giving away hired mobs. Any changes need to be for all players not just new players. Those who already grinded out 2000 or made the $$$ investment do not benefit.
i didnt read the first post but the idea is about letting ppl get those 1k free mobs more easily, right? im not for gifting ppl hired mobs
Absolutely NO Nope Never Not happening, we all grind or have grinded out getting our clan, so no, no free rides. PS if you chose to play on a NON social network that is on anyone who has made that choice.
The only way I'd go for this is if they are added to a new category of mobster... Not hired guns or "familia"... Otherwise it wouldn't be fair to people that have already filled those two up.
LOL, i got a vote for gabby shut up! (I'll get you bobby!!!! ) Yeah, i pretty much thought this would be a non starter, especially for those that have 2k mob and either bought it or took longer to earn it. I am a little surprised because people do like rewards and this one in my mind is designed to reward active players which is something we all want to see. On the hired gun reward, we are talking about giving away a maximum of 104 per year so, I'm a bit surprised that this is a big deal. It's not like people would suddenly have 2k mob over night and kano really wouldn't lose money on this or much at any rate. On the generic mobster front, they would be the same as hired guns only they go towards real mob not hired guns so, I gave them a new name. I would be totally opposed to forced mobbing with real players. As much as I wanted people to mob me and as frustrating as it was when they wouldn't, that is their option and with the game restrictions against fighting, catching bounties, etc., I would never go for forced mob ups. Also, there is at least one person in this game that will never have a place in my mob. I'm sure some of you have people like that too. Side note to red - i figured it would also give people the opportunity to demob some real players in trade for generics so, they could go for more bounties and have more people on their fight list.
A third category of mobster, "Fans" or "Followers" awarded at 2 per week for a week of daily log ins would definitely be cool tho! (Extending the limit of total mobsters beyond 2k)
Perhaps this category could also have a 1k limit, and there would be no way to "buy" these additional mobsters, bringing your total maximum mobster count to 3k.
yeah, if you could only get them through active game play, that would be a good way to encourage daily players. I like that one red. people could not complain that the money players are gaining even more advantages and ruining the game with the reward parameters you propose. Additionally, the money players that are active should have no problem with it, the long term players would not lose an advantage, and those that play for a long time and are always active would gain an edge.
I see no reason for this, We all have gotten our full clan, and it can be done with real people relatively fast, especially on FB,which is a social network, ya just have to have some friends help out and recommend you or you can look at their bosses and their inner or the elites, and send clan requests, there are many ways to get clan, besides it is not a contest or race, slow and steady win the race, this raid leveling, and partner leveling, is the craziest thing I have ever seen, WTF is the rush ,when you go to the finish line, there is not one there .
Yeah, I'm sure face book is a whole other animal. I've played games there in the past but, gave up face book long ago. The reason i thought about doing this poll is because on kong/armor, there really are only about 600-700 people that play every day and judging by the world boss, maybe 1200-1300 playing at least once a week. A good portion of these players simply will not mob with you. Unlike fast levelling, until you get your mob in, the fight list is just about useless unless you just want to attack and lose. About the only players I encounter on my fight list are long since inactive and either have full mob from back when the game was more popular or not enough to make it worth the stam to attack them. Brand new players are not invested in the game so, if they don't feel they are making progress quickly, they quickly move on. You do need balance in how fast they can level and make achievements but, you also need to make sure they don't get discouraged early and leave otherwise, the game will die off. No worries though, I knew when I proposed this, it was 99.99% probability that it would not be well received.
LOL, well, I pretty much said it in my original post. Would be nice to know why you think it is crazy but, that's okay. For me, just trying to think of ways to keep new players interested and older players active every day.
