I did a search of the forums & didn't seem to find any suggestions to give an incentive to participate more by people in RAID Bosses but couldn't find anything. Currently the chances of winning a Superior reward is just listed as "Superior items drop more rarely, but are also stronger". I think this could be improved to increase participation by people in the fight. I recommend a certain percentage chance for a rare based on total actions by people. Below is what I recommend: 1-5 place: 100% 6-10 place: 80% 11-15 place: 60% 16-20 place: 40% 21-25 place: 20% 26-30 place: 0% Doing something like this would give people more incentive to do more to increase their chances of getting a Superior item with only 1-5 guaranteed to get it. Of course, the person who started the RAID would still automatically get a Superior no matter what their number of total actions was.
Superior drops are already influenced by participation, actually. The more actions you do, the higher a chance you have to receive a Superior drop when the Raid Boss is killed although it is still random so you could end up with a Common (and having the most actions in your level tier will guarantee you a drop, although the Raid Boss owner counts in this as well).
Thank you for clearing up the details. As I noted above, the description in the boss' was rather vague, your explanation both cleared the fog & eliminated the need for a suggestion like mine (which might have given the programmers a headache to apply).
No worries, those pop-up boxes on the Raid Bosses are a little cramped for space so it's tough to get all the details in there.
