Properties could they be worth much more

  1. Properties give the player the money to procure more property, weapons, gear and vehicles it also increase their hit list value, and gives them enough cash to hit list that someone special. I would like to have another incentive in purchasing properties by adding additional attack value and extra defense value to the properties.
Of course I spend my skill points the best way I see fit but the new features in the game like Syndicate War & Battle Arena ext. has made me change how I spend my skill points in all the games that I play in and that is in all probability what KANO is trying to get people to do. I use to add for the most part only attack and in all the games that I play in but it was like a baseball bat to the knee caps while trying to level up and hard to defend yourself in Battle Arena.
So for example let’s say in Mob Wars I purchased 1,000 hacker facilities and it adds to my attack value and I purchase 1,000 Dockyard’s it adds to my defense. Obviously the values of each property would be up to the developers. I would like to have more defenses in some cases and more attack in others and all I would have to do is purchase more of the right properties or wait till I level up to get that one property with a lot of attack points and purchase hundreds of them or vise versa for more defense. These properties could appear in the fight page after fighting.
I would also think it would be sweet if we could win additional properties from boss fights. Like you completed a boss fight you get that boss owner weapon but you also get one property. If you fight the boss fight a lot and you accumulate hundreds of properties your hit list worth is going to increase just by fighting the boss fight. Maybe these could be sub properties attached to that one main property of that city. My thoughts are for all kano games by the way.

i think this would cause a huge imbalance in the game no matter what the values were. besides that, people are already tight with their fake game money, this would just make it that much worse

What about being able to buy only a specific number of "Enhanced Properties"? Like ten from each plane such as Vingolf, Asgard, Midgard, Etc. It would be a small difference, but noticeable.

Being able to buy a massive amount of empire is fun and all...but after a certain point it just seems broken and Over Powered. Why not have some incentives to do it earlier? Like an extra ten favor points a month for owning a few temples. Negligible for highly active players...but might get some newbs to stay in the game if they can get that really cool item on sale.

No thanx, as DEMONIK said this would cause a imbalance, bounties are already getting outrageous in higher level's.

  5. If you haven’t noticed there already are gargantuan imbalances inside the game and my contemplation of adding some attack and defense points to certain properties may answer some of those issues a little bit. As for my idea I don't suppose most players have $5 quadrillion dollars or more for 1,000 properties that might not have a good return on their investment contrast to other properties with possibly less attack or defense values but has higher income?
It may be like jobs in the game may yield a good profit but not a good weapon drop. Buying property is a financial transaction that involves risk, but is potentially profitable and in my property proposal you also could be a little bit stronger offensively and defensively if you buy the right properties in accumulation. It’s different than just buying something in the workshop or blacksmith area for hundreds of trillions of dollars which I have done and is something that can’t be sold nor has any revenue and probably could be replaced with a future job item or boss fight drop a few hundred levels later.
Once you purchase property in these games you are basically stuck with them forever and so whatever the level of attack and defense they could yield to these properties might be replaced with another property in the future when you level up so buyer beware but there still would be a revenue from those lower level properties purchased for a little boost in defense or offense when they were needed. It’s not like people doesn’t buy property now, they buy them in great quantities. These properties with attack or defense may be limited to the number of clan you have.
For illustration in Viking clan they have a number of warriors in the clan tab about the same attack and defense ratio and some are worth a lot more than the other the difference is the upkeep cost of each warrior. They cost more than properties do now. If you want to be competitive you have to buy these in the tens of thousands one for offense and another for defense. I found some warriors in Viking clan blacksmith that would cost hundreds of trillions of gold if not quadrillions to make enough to make you much stronger and replace the purchased warriors from the clan tab. That’s a lot of cash money and I purchased a little over a thousand of these warriors recently for two hundred quadrillion gold, and right now I’m buying some that are much cheaper to make but still should have the same effect on most of my enemies offensively but not defensively like the higher priced one but it would still be reducing my upkeep. So I don’t believe adding some attack or defense to some property would cause some sort of enormous disparity because it would cost too much to buy a lot.

If you get into a fight on the fight list and the guy fights you for week’s hit list you punch you, what possibility could fix this? It could be as simple as buying some property. Sounds genius to me, I can tell you what the huge imbalance is. That's the hired mobsters or hired crew that you have to pay for with the Favor points. No way to fix that but to buy them also, which I’m currently doing more than ever and it’s harder to do now with battle arena and the wars with Faction, Syndicate, Armada and Guild Wars. I realize the game is designed to give those with hire mobsters or extra crew the benefit of being a much stronger player but that’s a colossal difference.

I think the imbalance would be in the beginning. The people who bought the augmented properties would have an advantage of income and some extra defense or attack. A limit on how many can be purchased would balance it, a lot. But, if they implemented it almost everyone would be playing catch-up. The players that have an insanely high income would be at the advantage already.

After much consideration and deep thought upon the subject...I agree with Jades and Demonik. It is a feature that can and will imbalance the game and just add more where there shouldn't be more. The hired Chieftains, however, there is some room for improvement. What about making those have some extra atk/def or income. Specialize them a little bit...

@ Bolan...your hearts in the right place but you just dont have the perspective most of us do. i understand what youre trying to accomplish but this isnt the answer...i know how it feels to think you have a great idea just to see it shot down but it is what it is, horrible idea but keep at it. we need more thinkers like you around here

  11. [QUOTE="Demonik1, post: 108499, member: 5592 horrible idea [/QUOTE] Really lol  "perspective most of us do? o_O I'm not really sure that your point of view is correct because I play the game daily for years. I have played these types of games since 2005 I have been through it all. I'm almost ranked 3,000 in two of the games in KANO and have plenty of money to burn on some properties and I thought it might be nice to have some extra bonuses attached to the properties that we buy. How many posts are in here asking them to develop more things for every level? This could be an answer to some of the issues. I'm not asking that the property have 400 attack or 600 defense I'm asking for a few points. In some games I've played in before you travel to a different city and you are safe from some players. They had used properties in much different ways than they do in KANO. I'll be honest I missed doing those missions in the other game I'm serious it was fun. In here all it is, is a piece of property.

whether his point of view is correct or incorrect, does not matter, although I agree 100 % with him, we have all played these kinds of games for years. These games already have a lame protection feature, besides, traps counters, ambushes etc., so we definitley do not need any more, you realize at your level there are many many that are much higher and all the property players have bought so far would have to be considered and everyone would have to be compensated and believe me there are players with gigantic amounts of coin , so this will just bring everyone the same benefit and give no one anything extra lol

  13. ( again I don't think everyone is going to buy the property in large numbers. I would imagine that they would set it up some property has good attack or defense while others has better income. I fight all the time and most players do not have the weapons vhicles warriors what have you that I do because they just don't make them from the blacksmith workshop areas. Also weapon drops a lot of players does' t even have the best weapon drops inside these games in large numbers and I'm kinda puzzled why people doesn't put out more an effort.

Alot of players just play to pass the time, they fight the undead or level off of "one "aspect, be it bosses, or adventures, and yeah alot do not craft, that is for sure, there is a certain % who do not want to fight at all, I don't get that either.

Kirsten has a point about the compensation. I feel that it would add another aspect of the game for some players to ignore. I do a balanced thing and do as much of everything that I can.
Putting a limit on how many special properties you could buy would be able to balance it, But therein lies the problem of adding a new feature that people of a higher level would be racing to get and get their stats even with the other people that are racing for the same property.
Although, through the levels it would add an interesting dynamic for people to invest more and think more long term, which I like. Some people only attack bosses, I have seen one profile with over a thousand bosses killed and six hundred helped and twenty-four battles won and over 2,000 lost. She was almost level two thousand. There are single minded people to consider. Like people who only go to the battle list for xp, or the people that only play once or three times a week.
