Hey everybody, Just to let you know, we're putting ten new level achievements in the game along with five new Gamer Point achievements! If you're over the barrier for these achievements already, just be aware that they will not immediately pop up; you have to gain another level or earn some more Gamer Points to make these achievements appear. These are achievements that we meant to release back in early June along with the Viking Clan ones, but unfortunately there were events beyond our control that prevented that. Sorry for the delay, and happy achievement hunting!
Yay, another set of completely useless goals that only apply to 1 player. (not that that player is any less deserving) But let's look at what you did: 1) add gamer point achievements: solid. Reward your dedicated fan base. Positive impact. Great job. 2) add Level achievements: 1 player gets this....1. Prior to this, only 12 players in the previous 3 years of ZS have even earned the 3500 achievement. 3) Ignored all requests and great ideas in the forums to input multiple other achievements to increase positive playing experience. Boss kills beyond level 10, punch kills, fight kills...the list goes on and on. In my opinion, Kano is batting .500 on this one. From a developers and money making enterprise view, it all makes sense....to keep people paying. I get it. But from the hoards of negative feedback you are getting...from almost the entire spectrum of Kano games... maybe, just maybe you'd like to listen to us and make some positive changes that apply to the entire game. Punch Kills?? A level 900-1000 player can get 10,000 if played right. I know a few of them. Hitlist 10,000+?? another level 1000 already has this, so can someone level 5500 Fight Kills?? The game is played individually and together in faction form to do 1 thing, KILL....why not reward it? I agree with the forward thinking. Giving players the long term goals. In doing so though, you are neglecting the ones that matter to your players. No, you cannot make everyone happy all the time, but you can certainly add some rudimentary things to keep us entertained. What's it matter if we get some SP for boss kills, PK's, fight wins, or any other bunch of stats? Does nothing more than keep people interested, short/long term goal oriented, constantly able to seek out another aspect of the game to partake in......and it does nothing to the 'money enterprise' side of the house (if anything, it would add to it)....again, not seeing the downside of this for anyone involved... player or developer.
Hi Blasphamy, As I mentioned in my original post, there were achievements we've had queued for a while but had to delay their release due to a certain circumstance that sprung up earlier this summer. Since these achievements were on hold until things stabilized a bit, we decided to release them. We're working towards new achievements for other aspects of the games as well, so your feedback in that area is appreciated!
Yup, I'd like those added as well. These games are meant to "KILL OPPONENTS" Yet not rewarded for it, as well the bounties placed. Couple VC messages to remind you> Enjoy your stay in the Viking hospital, Revenge is sweet, Can you bounty me please? Nothing personal, it's just business, You bounty me, I bounty you, Face the consequences of being on my Rival List for the next 24 hrs! Death is just another stat, It's only a game, Thank you, please keep raising my bounty. How are the messages in the game not relating to ultimate goal of "KILLING" yet no, or really low achievements for doing so? I know ZS thread but same general principle.
hey i got a couple of those level achievements....so there was more than one person that benefited, however not that many i too am also looking for incentive achievements bosses hitlists bosses property bosses did i mention bosses?
