Here in MS guild season play is pretty much a joke. The way its currently set up offers no real competition accept for the race to get your daily points in by 12am pst Sat. on the final day. Not only can daily points be done in less than 2 minutes, the 12am pst Sat deadline is extremely discriminatory to those living in different time zones.
Here in MS my guild has dominated this aspect of the game with really only 1 other guild that ever offers up any competition. I think this could be greatly improved upon by simply making daily points unlimited and by moving the deadline to 12 am pst Sun.
Doing this accomplish a few things, for starters....
1. Every player in a guild wouldn't necessarily have to play every day for a guild to remain competitive and may very well cut down on players playing someone elses account
2. Guilds that dont have the full 25 players could still be competitive. Most guilds dont have 25 members
3. It will promote more play in all point categories by players in guilds with or without 25 members
4. It will eliminate the time zone bias.
5. The guild with most dedicated player will win because they did the most....not simply because everyone showed up or got done first @ 12 am pst on Sat.
6. Would make it much more difficult for alt. guilds to compete
Make the daily points unlimited and you will be promoting more play in the form of battles, helps, bosses and adventures, regardless of what style you play you will be helping your guild towards a trophy and the corresponding rewards (which should be higher by the way). Dont limit us Kano.....let us help ourselves by helping you. Make it a real competition that allows all time zones a fair shake. Personally I think it make it will make it much more fun, interesting , competitive and fair.
