I was browsing the ZS forum and saw this amazing idea by "BiteYourFaceOff" and love it. Here it is, copy and pasted. "How about time limited cities?? So people, like EVERYONE in the game, can try and complete things within an allotted time frame, before the city becomes cut off?? Like the 3 day calendars... complete tasks to gain a reward, or maybe skill points? ETA these time limited cities could also have their own boss... ETA again... this Boss could have drops, with which you could craft limited city specific items with... for example, hit it once, get the blueprint... hit it twice to get first item... etc... makes people keep clicking in... but of course this crafted item has to have DECENT stats " Only thing I don't agree on is the skill points. If somebody for some reason can't play, they are now at a disadvantage. Say somebody joins a year from now, they missed out on all those skill points and are at a severe disadvantage. Other than that I love this idea, and would love to see it implemented.
Has been suggested before. Last time it didn't get over that great with players. Good luck though got my vote but as you said not on the skills as being a gift of doing cities since it can throw the balance off a bit items only for certain times
Any boss drops. Or doing 3 cities to craft a item with great stats on both sides but you need each part from a city.
that would be cool, but i doubt kano would make the crafting items have great stats. All of our crafting items to this date are pretty much useless
No this would be a new shop created just for limited times like this were once you gather all the pieces together you would go into the shop and craft it. One weapon ship or matey or vice versa for the games per craft. You would have to choose what you would make out of it and you wouldn't see the final outcome of the items until you craft it so this way you wouldn't know. So not everyone would choose the highest weapon ship or matey. Until you craft you won't know.
And i am talking about as in one time when the cities open you have one chance to craft that item. Then you have to wait for the next cities to open and craft up again. And you choose again which item but you will never no the outcome. 3 cities to complete 3 items to gather then it closes down the challenge and you craft the item. Then you wait till the next limited cities come out again and do the whole process over again. But if you keep the stats hidden it makes players choose which one they can get since it will only be one time they can craft of there choosing then all players will not have the same items some may choose a weapon some may choose a ship or a matey. But if you show the stats then of course everyone will always go for the best one.
yeah ik, but as far as ZS goes the crafting has been a joke and it's been said that with nothing improved. I'd like to see good crafting but i doubt it would happen
I was actually thinking of them showing the stats and having 3 different ones. all attack, all defense, balance. Like say 400/1 1/400 200/200
depends on their build, i'd choose the attack one all the time, some would choose defense, some would choose balance
eh, i dont want defensive items, i have 1 defense for the sole purpose that i want people to win when they attack me.
Like the idea, but I think it is way to much additional work for KANO.. so it wont be implemented. never. but I can give it a 10 I guess..
I like the idea of a limited city. Especially since I am pouring my stamina into already completed outbreaks. I think it would be awesome to change the cost of the outbreaks depending on what level you are. That way a level 1 isn't paying the same as a level 2001. For example 300 an outbreak would be unreachable to complete for a level 1 but for 2001 it would be expensive but possible.
