[LCN] August 26th Update - Gift Send changes

An update was released today that affects the Gifting system of Mob Wars: LCN.

First, for all of our networks the maximum # of gift sends per day has been increased to 50 per day. (Hi5 was already at 50 per day)

Second, for Facebook players you will notice we have reduced the # of clicks you must perform to send gifts. Previously it was a 2 step process to first pull up the Facebook Request dialog and then another click to actually send the gift. Now once you have selected your gift it will go straight to the FB Request where you can either directly send to a pre-selected player or choose players among your friend list.

I can't help but notice that the send box on facebook appears at the top of the page. Is there any way to make that appear in a position relative to the portion of the page your using? Screenshot below:

 

Also, you still haven't updated the page to show more than 30 of the most recently received gifts.

@Don: The issue you are having with the Send box is an issue we are only having with our kanogames portal. We are looking to fix this up soon. As for the sent/received gifts, these tabs should now show up to your last 50 gifts. If it is still only showing a max of 30 this should increase on your next send or receive when the list gets rebuilt.

 

now when u send a gift it removes that line and makes it so much harder to send gifts from the alert section because there is that last pop up that u have to close

why are there so many steps to sending a gift? there is ALWAYS an error pop up box that u have to click close b4 u can do anything else and then u have to close another pop up box after that to see the rest of the gifts in ur alert tab since the process is now changed, b4 i could at least bypass closing the last pop up and still accept and send more gifts

from the alert tab the steps are:
1) click to accept gift
2) click to send gift
3) click to send gift again (why is this step needed???)
3a) sometimes u get a pop up box as if ur not logged into myspace so u have to start over and click to close this pop up box
3b) repeat step 3 (steps 3a and 3b can be repeated multiple times during this process)
4) click close to close pop up error message box (why is this step needed???)
5) click close to close pop up confirmation box (why is this step needed???)

it takes 5 or more clicks just to send a gift? take into consideration the lag during certain times of the day when everyone is playin and u want to quit playin mob wars bc ur gettin sick of having so many steps just to send a simple gift during a very bad lag time as well as the fact that now the gifts dont seem to work anyway and u have to close out and keep tryin to resend again

 

@Bo Baby: As you might know there have been some issues on MySpace with sending requests which are completely out of our hands as they make changes to their infrastructure. However your point is valid in regards to the # of clicks the must be performed to send gifts. This is on our radar, thanks for your detailed feedback.

 

thank you for ur response bc this is truly a pain in the butt and yeah myspace has bad lags bc they allow people to put all that fancy stuff on their profile pages...LOL
