Kano, you are following the same path as the Dev's of Mob Wars.

A bit of background of me; I walked away from a mobster who had an in-house level partner. We were built to level to infinity, even though the GF's stopped after 300 levels a day. Guess what? The game became a chore, not fun. Now a few years later, LCN is becoming the same game, boring. Changes are slow and and non-productive. Let me explain; It's obvious you guy hate War Mode, people play their backside off for what is equal to doing a few challenge helps. Syn Wars attacks for the most part equal or 25% less then fight attacks but, when the math comes in to play, Syn Wars is another joke. If I spend: Refill with 50 Tokens for 3 Favor Points, the little math wiz in my college class would say, "try again". Basically it's 50 attacks for 3 Gf's. It don't add up, Depending on how much stamina you have; drop 10 GF's and your full, not just 150 tokens.
Lets move on. When I quit the other, gifting meant something, not much but it did help. In here I have over 1000 gifts for each crafting all the way to Antarctica. I Hate gifting! I only do it to help others. A positive of MW1 was sending stamina and energy boost helped your familia, you could collect
several a day, so everyone would be happy.
Now to move on to everyone's bit*hes: It takes an excessive more Exp's to level in here, I'm 5569 here(894476) and over there I'm 24056 and to level, 681008. Come on, what a joke! You said that you are fixing the raid boss exp's, please follow through. I'm sure I missed a few points, please add to or correct what I've posted; I know I'm not the only one thinking this.

sounds about right tho you seem to enjoy the game. Lcn has more aspects to it that straight wars And deaths at lcn, here, don't really count for much. Its ten times more the xp loss over there at mobwars.
Sooner or later, its going to replicate whatever is happening inwardly in yourself. It can be about your attitude to it more than 'it' itself.
Sure, gifts are just time consuming.
Nobody much likes warmode other than a special breed. Syndicate wars seems ok to me.
If its an achievement based game, its not going to be much fun but if you follow your feeling, its pretty good.
I couldn't play it all the time. At the end of the day, its just waiting on the hitlist but there's enough happening and more than enough playing to keep it interesting for me.
As for the math, assume you are right, but then who wants to be an accountant.
You're a great player. Carry on ; theres always limitations.

Well, guess I belong to that bread who play war mode, not that I do it for the xp, as it takes a lot of work to earn that ½ level a day.
Monday morning you collect your "reward" for the work. It's 20-50% of a level, depends on your synd rank. Woooooooh
All in all a good week in warmode might give you 4 - 4½ level a week, 5 If you work very hard.

It's much faster just to bully what's on the fightlist, once a day, and your ½-1 level is done and you prob get listed, so that your rivallist is fresh for tomorrows hunt for the xp.

Yes!!! we are a special bread in warmode, but it's damn fun, and you can do it all the time, without paying extra FP, witch you can't in SW, because you run out of tokens pretty fast, those you buy too. And then you gotta wait till next day's hour of SW.

Gifts in LCN, yes Dennis I agree with you, I too miss sending/getting stam and energy like in the old MW.

Bottom line - KANO needs to create better objectives and goals for higher levels. There needs to be a reason to play and to be an active player. I agree 100% about the gifts..... and I am in ANTARCTICA. There is really very little to achieve at this point and the pace in which to achieve goals moves slower than a snail's pace.

And those shouldn't be leveling goals, since that just worsens the problem where players at the top level away from everyone and end up fighting the same 10 players.

I am always shocked at the comments people make..... the entire design of this game is to level. From the day you start, the levels are followed one after the other by simply doing energy. The more levels you do, the faster you get to the next inventory item, the more energy you get, the stamina refill. Nothing about this game is about staying level 1. The more you level, the better drop rate for higher bosses, the more exp, more damage, the more skills...... everything is designed about leveling. People do RAIDS to get not only the one reward per RAID boss but the 30 levels from it. People kill bosses to level. People try not to get killed every five minutes because they lose EXP which you use to level. Otherwise, the goal should be dump stamina on bosses then go get a bunch of people to kill you every day so you NEVER level. Stop doing challenges which are basically for exp. Stop helping on jobs which is for exp.

The idea of this game is to get stronger and more powerful and a lot of that is based in levels. Granted, if you can get a few "suckers" I guess to level out to say I don't know MOON BASE and then share their bosses with you..... then we can sit back and insult them and say leveling is for fools while enjoying all the benefits those higher levels give us in sharing their bosses. Not to mention the higher bounties they put out there when they can afford to list a handful of people for trillions each time.

Leveling was at one time what people used to do and they didn't "sandbag" and stay a low level. Now days it seems people prefer to do very little except ask for bosses every time they see a higher level around or make up syndicate rules stating how and when higher levels should share their bosses. Oh, and the latest..... now I see lower levels and mid levels complaining when a higher level doesn't kill of the RAID since the higher levels is of course expected to save us all.

What you say is mostly true at the lower and middle levels, but not so much at the top levels. The issue is that only a select few are willing to spend the money to get there, so you have only a handful of players at that level. Any new city will only entertain them for a month, until they are done and have no leveling goals anymore.

That is why this game needs to entertain high level players with non-leveling goals.

IMHO where Mob Wars went wrong was to pander too much to the few top levels, giving in to just about anything they wanted so the gap between them and everyone else just got bigger as they pulled the ladder up behind them..
Then there was all the bullcrap about having to invite people to help on elites, etc, instead of just posting them so anyone could jump on and help. While these changes may have been very entertaining for those who have nothing else to do all day, it was just a pain in the backside for the other 99% of people.
I totally agree about the gifts though - at least make them worthwhile by having high value Workshop items worth 150+ att/def. Workshop has become irrelevant now all these boss drops are so high value and Workshop was the only thing that made gifts useful.
