i use this name more than 3 month..and u know..now i need to change them for 10 un??after wasting 10 un on it..???now it cost me a un to change it..i dun wanna waste ma un..Joined 640 days ago...after several month..n this is the action..my name is nothing to do bout my rival..if i need to change ma name..please..i dun wanna waste ma un..u know its hard to get them!!!

 

I don't think it costs to change it in this case.If it does,then Atheistic got a free pass once.I can guess why it was changed on you though.Remove the "orino" and there's your answer why it was changed.

Lord Breakfield is correct on why your name was taken off and put as unknown slayer. They are cracking down on a lot of games on facebook lately with names that are slang abbreviated or you get the picture by looking at it to know what it means. But as far as i know i think lord breakfield may be correct also it shouldn't cost anything to change it since kano made you change it but not 100 percent sure.

If your name is been forced to change from Kano because its Offensive, its a Free Name Change. Not 10 UN

Besides I didnt see anything offensive about your name in the first place.. Thats kind of weak to have your name being deemed Offensive.

You should email KANO and ask them to explain to you how that name was offensive???

 

If Kano are really interested in preventing foul language they need to use a filter to prevent such words being used. This would not only give clarity on what is acceptable but also prevent people being offended by some of the names being used.

 

It's impossible to filter everything.Someone might be offended by something that isn't even offendable.

Personally I don't see a problem with your original name, but I can see some being offended by it? I would urge you to report any offensive/foul names you see to support, or send them to one of the Moderators in a Private message and we will escalate them for you

 

I really don't see a problem with the name Bastardorino. But we all know already that KANOs decisions are weird sometimes. There was a player called "The BIGGEST Bastard OG" on myspace for 2 years and it didn't offend anyone.

 

We are not on an active hunt to filter / remove names. If players come across a name that offends them and reports it to support, we investigate and take appropriate action.

We have also had a recent changing of the guard with Support so that could play a role as well to the situation you mentioned above.

 

"Offensive" is subjective, of course. I recently ran across someone who found the word "hate" in a name offensive. and others who seem to find "pussy killer" inoffensive. Words change in different societies/cultures, too. Many schools in the U.S. have had to drop their logos and names for sports teams because someone found it "offensive in nature to a group of people".

The whole name thing on here is a nightmare, I'm sure. I've reported a couple, and found that KANO usually acts on it quickly...but it really does need to be reported by more than one person

I can only imagine some one found it offensive ,reported it and viola I think we can move on from this and we are all aware that using a certain word/s may offend and may be banned.

 

That's the wrong spelling of his old name lol, and more offensive I guess If it was that I could understand, but Kano have to adhere to anyone who is offended by something, we don't want people offended
