    thanks for the info AS

How can someone way outside of my exp range put me on the hitlist/bounty list

Anyone who is over a minimum level 300 can be hitlisted/bountied by any player at any level. If you are below that level, then players who are less than 2 times your level can bounty you (example I am level 50, I can only be bountied by players who are level 100 or less). If the lower level does not retaliate, then that higher level player cannot attack. If a lower level attacks an out of range higher level player, they will be up for attack until either the higher level kills them or the 24-hr retaliation window expires.

i underline whats in question. the low level (lvl 1456) did not attack in anyway the (lvl 3352)
how can he put bounty on me with this rule?

It is because bounty and attack are two different things.

They can put up a bounty on you for their friends.
They can NOT attack you - unless you hit them.

In the feed, you can see when someone gets attacked a few times in a row. It says something like this:

Mystic is under heavy attack from Warlock Tigerwolf
(sorry, Warlock, just using you as an example!).

Both my name - Mystic - and his name - Warlock Tigerwolf - will be highlighted and clickable. Click on his and you'll see the options, including bounty. There will be a note about level if that applies.

You can bounty him for heavily attacking me, even if he never attacked you.
As long as he does not hit you (for placing the bounty), you won't be able to hit him. And you can't hit someone you put on the list.

Okay, did that make it clear or make it muddy? I hope that helps!

so in short i cannot do anything? they can just take my exp? they can bully me? till they get what they want? .... IS THIS FAIR?

  6. i said something in a mob war post ill say something like it here.

leveling fast is NOT the way to go.
its best to slow level.build up your rule
if done properly then even a lvl 300 can have a high cost and able to afford expensive traps more than once.(and contrary to popular belief setting a trap will NOT open you up to attacks)

  7. and heres something in the game help.

    * No Whining. No complaining about the game being unfair. We are aware of the occasional imbalances in the game and plan to smooth them out in time.

  8. also its almost never random that a higher will list someone lower.99.999999% of the time there is a reason behind it other than just because

    A)you attacked them/listed them
    B)you attacked/listed clan of theres
    C)your in a rival armada
D)you got someone in clan they dont like
E)they think you got a inappropriate name

    list goes on

I just feed those people a few Booby Traps and play my game, as long as you don't attack back, all they can do is put a hit on you. And considering your bounty cost, you shouldn't find them expensive, even less if they're chainlisting you.

Besides, if they listed out of the blue (I trust you, they do it to everyone) they'll forget you soon as long as you don't fight back.

Atheistic, every player should be forced to read the whole manual with all the traps that await them as they level.

Honestly, we get such a thread about once a week. It gets old.

And here, the most common reasons to list you:
    I don't like your name/avatar/guild
    You attacked me/listed me
    You attacked/listed Clan
You messed with an apprentice (Yeah, I have an apprentice, and I'm very proud of her progress, mess with her and you mess with my Bank Vault. I'm the more expensive cat right now.)
You are stupid (for example a level 700 suicide-chaining me)
You are cheap (ANY PRICE under 1,2 Trillion is considered cheap by me)
I'll not let you have any breathing room (Mannaan, tyndall, Stoner Bully)
    I feel like it
I found you by chance and am bored
I carry a grudge from another app (The little Level 1600 you kick around can kick you around elsewhere. And revenge is oh so sweet)
You're Level 300 (Welcome to the Playground, say good bye to your survival streak)

YES I DONE THIS. i dont level fast. and yes i build my rule. and im only level 1456. the bullies is level 3352 with 2000 ship using credit card to buy FP. i normally use bounty traps. but like the rule say bounty trap if successful will be an attack. a retaliation that will open this high level to attack back. so a bounty trap will be in itself a trap for me.

I thought bounty traps KEPT the window open, not OPEN the window in the first place.
Could someone clarify the Rivals List rules for Bounty Traps and Counter Attacks, please?

  13. they dont allow you to be attacked and will NOT keep it open.

if that were the case then id be able to pound everyone more often :D

  14. no they will not.

and contrary to popular belief even ambushes WONT keep it open for the one that set it.

if that were the case then there would be some never falling off my list and id be pounding them more and more.

level 3150 and not many rivals.

Ambushes...Counter attacks? I know those DO affect the rivals list window...if they don't open it, do they keep it open?

  16. ambushes will NOT keep the window open.

if that were the case then there would be some never falling off my list.

ambush will count as a attack but will NOT open or keep any window open

Are you sure? Because I attacked someone (on my BATTLE list, not the RIVAL list) and that first attack hit a counter. This person IMMEDIATELY popped up on my Rival's List. Is that just because I was already able to attack them?
If they had been below my range, I could not have attacked from the Rival list?

  18. ambushes and traps will land you on a rival list.

however if you are able to already attack them then of course they will be available to attack

if its a low level lets say lvl 300 just for hell of it

hitting there counters wont keep them on your rival list longer and if they hit you with a trap then they will land on your list but NOT where you can attack them..

perhaps kano can explain it better

Ah, so they show up, but aren't *open* for attack. Like if you kill someone who's on your list...you can't attack them AGAIN (if they're out of range) until they act against you another time.

This RULE you have to EMPHASIZE, right next to the rule that successful bounty traps is consider an attack.
