Hello everyone! I wanted to formally introduce you all to our new support person here at Kano HQ, Melanie A.K.A Aardvark. She's been fielding the majority of your support requests for the last week, and will continue to do so in the same friendly and efficient manner you've come to expect from us here at Kano. I'm personally thrilled to have her on board, and I know she'll be a great fit for the position. I could talk about how awesome she is for quite a while, but instead I'll her post a little bit about herself, and then open it up to you guys/gals for welcoming messages and so on.
Hey people! My name is Melanie, I'm brand new to Kano and am taking over the email support from Dan. Some of you have already been in contact with me for one thing or another, and if you contact us through the support form it will me working to assist you in any way I can. About me: I have a varied background in customer service positions, and particularly enjoy handling questions and issues where I get to do research and learn more about the people and products I'm working with. I enjoy working with detailed technical information and am working towards a Technical Communication Certificate through Vancouver Island University. I also have academic credentials in business and, oddly enough, criminology. I also have a fondness for board and console games, Discworld novels, comic books, and cartooning. I even wrote and drew a rather awful web comic for a while. (it's still out there on the interweb if any of you net sleuths are suckers for punishment) I've only been at Kano a short while but I already love working here, and am looking forward to helping players with all their future questions and concerns.
