[PC] Idea for Killer Calendar.....make all them scallywags happy!

This idea is not mine, but a friend's. I thought it was so good I would post it up for them.

Calendar Challenge: three days to complete, but over a one week time period. Each player's three days would start when he started it. So, if they had rahter do the challenge on the weekend (or not) it is their choice. RATE THIS ONE for me mateys!

This is just my opinion on it. I would say no. We all have lives and jobs and other things that can get in the way of it. The developers changed it this time around giving us more time and making it longer to obtain a key making the calender way way to long to do just one of them were if the keys were just left at a 20 min interval it would have taken way less time to do one calender. Still so many people complained again this is not fair. That's why they put it into the challenges because it is a challenge to get it finished and yes the rewards are worth it but again so many people complain oh i didn't get the item it wasn't worth my time in doing it. But they probably did do it to an extent and received a lot of gold and experience and the experience they received they leveled off of giving them davy jones points. So they did get something whether they could get all 3 challenges done or not. Money Experience Items and Davy Jones points or favor points in the respective games. So that is my opinion on it No is for me and i rated it a 1

 

EXCELLENT idea, in my opinion! This would give working folks the same chance at rewards that those who don't work get! 10 stars from me

 

I thought it was going to be an idea for a "killer Calendar"?

This is just asking for more time to be able to finish the Calendars

I think some of you may be missing the point it isn't simply an idea to allow more time to complete a calender, because that would be a pointless idea.

However, Don't you think it is in the best interests of the players and Kano to add this idea?

People work through holidays and weekends, and through weeks of course so having a set time to do the calendars can be frustrating for them and a possible no go.

If you as a user get a 7 day time limit to chose when you want to start your calendar this would make it fair to everyone, it isn't giving them more time, it's giving them the same amount of time that anybody else would have.

At the end of the day it is unfortunate if people miss out on Calendars due to work/family/engagements etc. so to have a buffer of time is an excellent feature in my opinion, and everyone can get to do the calendars which may actually reduce the whining and the complaints

This is of course just my opinion, and I'm happy with the way the calendars are set up, but I can see a need for it

 

what I do not get is catering to working People??? I work 6 to 7 days a week and for it it is fine the way it is, there seems to be an assumption that working people are at a disadvantage???

 

I still have to say no to this Dylan. While i do wish everyone can complete the calenders. Like Linda said i work anywhere from 12 to 16hrs a day. And i manage to get mine done. It should not cater to people just because they are working. Kano did give them the 30 min longer to build keys and more time to finish the calenders but still there were people who could not finish it. No matter which way you go on this even if you did try to cater to individuals something might come up or an issue might occur. Just leave it as it is and let people do there best. Just because you cannot finish all three does not make you a loser in the calenders. You still are a big winner with the experience money gained and the favor points from leveling up from all that free experience.

Jon I think you are missing the POINT of this idea, and I am surprised at your low rating and negative comments.

Dylan understood the concept. Your first post recapped all the things that players griped about. My feedback for KANO? Stick with 20 minutes. Offering players a CHOICE of when to start a challenge, within a specific time frame, should CUT DOWN on both whining and the bottleneck of challenge help requests that hit like a bomb and we get 1 xp for.......rethink, please. thanks.

 

Linda, I like twenty minutes better too. for sure. Again, this is an Idea. Maybe the DEVS will have to wait until the right holiday falls on the right date? Or maybe they will do a different kind of challenge? Voting no?

 

No i did understand what you said diva and like i said in my post i wish everyone can finish there calenders all the time but it should not be catered to time frames on when people can start it. And yes i understand about all the players who griped about it. But i stand by my choice and my opinion i rated it a 1 and going to stick by it. You get plenty of incentives to doing the calenders just because you cannot finish all three does not make you lose out you still get all the other perks.

 

OMG Diva has a sad face, we can't have that I vote no more killer calendars lol
