Im curious as to why players can get more rewards as far as XP, money and FP from an event calender that takes no real effort than say a winning guild member can get in either season play or guild wars. There is so much more involved in either of the week long seasons especially if one is to place well or even win. This makes no sense to me. Do less get more? Maybe if the rewards were better for these guild events then more players would participate...especially in guild wars. The way it stands now...players not participating in GWs get to partake in the extra bounties while not having to suffer near the consequences that the participants do. The paltry amount of XP recieved(even if they win) by the participants hardly warrants the extra abuse that participants take so wheres the incentive? A week of dedication and long hours in order to win seems like it should be worth more than half a level when one can do calenders and sit on the bounty page all day and reap much more benefit with less effort or consequence. This seems poorly thought out.
Just in my opinion, the game is no fun if all you do is try to level. The reason so many play guild wars is because it gives the players a purpose and a fun way to compete against each other. I think it's really well done and do not think it is about the XP rewards you get but rather the fun experience. Guild wars is a way to reward yourself with fun times after you have built up a strong player and provides incentive for making yourself stronger. Good job Kano! Again those are just my thoughts on the issue, the beauty of opinion is everyone's got one.
