Just a little question out of idle curiosity really. How come if we have listed our desired gifts in order of numbers 1 to 5, which may be the order of need for the blacksmith, or desire for points etc (especially for the lower levels when it is worth adding them to your personal loadout). How come we seem to receive them in the reverse order of how we set them up i.e. the latest gift you added is likely to be the next gift you receive when the system kicks it in properly, not your number one gift or number two gift. It does not bother me, just curious really why why have a numbered list at all?
I think that might be a matter of coincidence. When you setup your wishlist with gifts #1 through #5, your friends can see this in correct order in 2 places: from your own Profile they can see your Wishlist if they click any Send Gift button that is associated with yourself (profile, friend leaderboard, support squad...) There are other times when you complete an action such as sending a gift where it will sometimes suggest one for your to send back. In this case I believe it will select a random gift from the intended receiver's wishlist if you have one defined.
Thanks Smack. Whether you are right or wrong is not too important but an answer is better than non At least it is an answer, just one of those little things that makes one think, "Why did it do that I wonder?"
In the past I have put gifts in order of priority but it makes no difference so I haven't bothered for a long time now. The only thing that seems to happen is that the last gift you put in is likely to be the next one you get most of regardless of any numbered order. Alternatively the last two you entered might be your next two with the actual last one being what you seem to get most of. Seems as if you want something in particular for smithing or whatever that you have to put that in last to get it.
The second largest determiner of which of your Wishlist Items you receive is the level of the player sending you the gift. Many of the gifts in the list unlock at higher levels. It your friend isn't of high enough level, they won't be able to gift you the item. To be sure of getting a specific gift is to ask for it; again limited by the level of the sender. Cheers.
There are times I need or want something specific so I send out the games request with that particular item/s and by pass what I have in my wishlist, that can work well also, but as to your question I have no idea lol and do not dwell on those little things.
