Game Update: Rivals Heal Link Adjustment

Nope no problem (as I don't see it as a problem) with it either way, in fact I have discussed it with other players , just not here but I do feel if it will help Kano weed out anyone doing things they should not, I am all for it, I have never even used the skull feature and I do not need to ride the hit list. But that is just me.

I just googled it...its absolutely doable with the right software. I guess the question is whether its legal or not. Considering Kano doesnt even want people using auto clicking mice ...Im going with doubtful.


So if the whole idea of this update is to catch players using bots or to curb the use of using the skull tab in a way that was unintended....I guess the question is whether or not this "tweak" was worth it . Especially when one considers that Tablets can be used to heal more effectively, A second mouse can be used with the proper software and bot users can still run script whether they are on bounty or not....Personally....I just dont see the point...especially when one considers all that is being lost or the adverse effects its having on honest players accounts.

 

Where can I buy adaptive technology?

 

you play pirate clan so why would you use the skull
its geared more for lcn players

 

I have 2 cursors on my screen right now, if I prntscrn then the original one gets concealed but if you'd like I can prntscrn to show you the extra one. It's colored differently to show you which mouse is different.

 

Excuse me but this is across the board for "all" games and I play "all" the games, but that is besides the point, if some have a problem I am sure expressing opinions here are what the forums are for so maybe if "you" complain enough , Kano will do what some of you want, then again maybe not, for me I can go along either way. All I said was I do not use it, I know alot who don't and I know alot more who could care less about riding the bounty board, but I digress. To say this is geared to just LCN is very short sighted on you who play One game. This announcement is in General Discussions not for a specific game, you may have missed that . I know many of the players in all the games and some are not gonna like this change , things never go 100 % one way or the other , but I chose not to be negative about it and not complain.

 

Actually the skull was not introduced in lcn first it was beta tested in pirate clan mark. So please before your going to spew crap out of your mouth like you always did when i was helping moderate check your facts. It's not geared towards any game. It was geared toward all games to help access certain functions quicker and faster. Did it do the job yes it did to well. Where players had to take advantage of a loophole in it for the developers to have to repair yet again in the software programming. This is all games. Cry a river a little more because it hurts your game play adapt and move on if not go play farmville and quit your crying already.

 

And protector is right yes it only uses one cursor with dual mice. But polish is also right to you can download software to change that. But if you do that there was a discussion in a previous thread somewhere awhile back it's a violation of the terms of use in games because your using a script to improve your gaming. Because without that script or program two dual mice is just one cursor.

 

Hey folks, I know it's the weekend but I just wanted to hop in here and thank you guys for all your feedback. This change was made with the intent of having a positive effect, to even the playing field, and to help expose those who are healing faster than normal through illegitimate means.

As with all of the changes we make to the games they are subject to change based on user feedback. Once we get back to work this week we'll pour over the feedback in this thread in more depth. Considering the fact that tablet basically already have this feature it would be bullshit to say I can't use 2 mouse cursors.

 

Well its a violation of the TOU.

They have the final say in what script we can use. An OS is nothing more than a script a device runs on, why not ban tablets?

 

i stated that the lcn people use the feature more thats why the lcn people here are posting about it

Im not agreeing or disagreeing nor am i trying to get in the middle of yours and Johns lil tiff, Im just curious as to why u think that LCN players use the skull more so than players from other games? Personally...... I dont see it as being any more or less advantages in lcn than anywhere else.

all i stated was that lcn players use this feature to ride
im not sure if this is how it works in other games as i know there set up is different
but if the other games use this feature to ride that the point i was making the riding the hitlist
i wasnt trying to say it was only lcn that its used and dont pretend to know the other games
all i was posting about like my lcn friends that we use this feature to ride and was unappy about it being removed

 

I see VC, PC and ZS players in this thread, not just LCN, take a closer look. This affects all four games in a positive and negative way depending on how players use it, it is a new tweak to this feature, I am sure Kano will take into account the different views expressed here , but if it in any way helps curb anyone doing things they should not then I am for it, till kano finds a middle ground, they have stated it already has been used in ways not intended, as usual in these games.
