Last August, in an attempt to grow our Community Volunteer team, we created the Game Guru program, which was intended to help newer players by giving them access to experienced players through the forums. It has become apparent that our Forum improvement efforts would be better spent elsewhere, so we are officially ending the Game Guru program, although I would encourage anyone who was interested in volunteering as a Game Guru to consider applying as a Moderator. Although we are ending the program, I wanted to thank our former Game Gurus, Eraser and Obituary Writer, for their contributions. Thanks! Although we are always looking to expand our Community Volunteer team, right now we will do so through our Moderator team, and look into the possibility of additional groups in the future, as necessary. @SS0 All of our Community Volunteers are here to help our players. Although Moderator duties are specific to the well-being of the forums and community, they are still absolutely encouraged and able to help out new players, albeit with their regular accounts. It's also worth mentioning that Moderators do help new players by keeping the forums a respectful and welcoming place, which makes it easier to get help from experienced players/old posts.
