Favorite Resident Evil Game?

What's everybody's favorite Resident Evil game?

Before I say which is my favorite, I would like to say that in general I prefer the newer ones in the series..... Meaning the 3rd-person-shooter-view (4, 5, 6), rather than the older games with the fixed-camera-angles and puzzle based gameplay (1, 2, 3, veronica). Nothing is wrong with the older ones, in fact I usually prefer puzzle-based games rather than action games, but that's just my preference.

The newer ones are a little bit TOO action based in fact in my opinion, which is why I consider Resident Evil 4 to be the best in the series. It was a cross between the 2 different styles.

 

Didn't know community cared about everyone's personal games, this is forum for KANO games. I'm sure you can find another forum to post this on.

 

we can see the connection there raising as the resident evil games are zombie based so i guess hes sharing his interests, some may share the same intrest too

 

Resident Evil 5 I have to say is my favorite in the series so far, the only one I haven't played is the spin-off (Operation Raccoon City) but I prefer in Res 5 how you can purchase ammo/weapons and switch them between your partner, hate the 'Skill Points' thing in Res 6 find it entirely pointless.

What I do like in Res 6 is the ability for both players to pick up a newly discovered weapon rather than just one person being able to collect it

 

I think everyone can see the simple Zombie connection.... but isn't this kanoapps.com??? with a particular link to a particular game that is intended to be used as a way to talk about, improve, suggest ideas for THIS particular game?? It would be easy to flood this thing with ho-hum threads about everything zombie related.....like, how's about we do a real time discussion about Walking Dead and our favorite characters there-in...... and then move on to the most recent news articles circulating about 'zombie' like behavior exhibited by certain people around the globe high on bath salts?? heck, why not even go and put up our high scores and tactics for getting to level 75+ in Call of Duty Zombies?? If you let this continue, and only merely connect it as 'zombie oriented' you are seriously decreasing any sort of value of this forum and are going to make a mockery out of an already skeptical bunch of your most dedicated players.

 

You know, I was already considering starting a "Walking thread" when the 2nd half of the season starts in february.

Personally see nothing wrong with just talking about zombie stuff on the general discussions board, There is an ideas board for ideas, There is a new player area board for people that need help. I think the general discussion board should be for whatever we want to talk about.

As long as every topic is concentrated to one thread. I really dont see a problem with having a few threads that are "just for fun".

 

My favorite movie is 'blah blah' my favorite series is 'blah blah' my favorite weapon to kill a zombie is 'blah blah' I can go on and on, this would not only work for ZOMBIE SLAYERS. Really doubt many even care to read this either, mine or anyone's posts on this thread! This is a forum for games yes, KANO games plain and simple. Isn't TOS against advertisement which 'THIS THREAD' clearly saying my favorite movie is Resident Evil? So you are advertising!

 

people who play games are allowed to express there opinons and likes as long as they dont break any rules
1 member who clearly likes ZS was expressing there intrest in similar games and wanted to share but gets shot down as usual
this is a general descussions thread i dont see anything wrong with it and i agree with Erazers post above

 

It advertises a movie and game, plain and simple against TOS read it again..

 

This gentlemen is new to the forum and I for one don't want to discourage him right off the bat so I did speak to Dan yesterday and he said maybe he would have a place here in the forum so people can if they want to share common interests on this subject, I figure that will be a interesting option . I will remind Dan during the week about the idea. and if I don't talk to you guys before then Happy New Year !!!

Dylan, thanks for sharing! Love hearing people's opinions on their favorite games. Re5 was great! Especially for co-op with a friend. Loved the trading items feature as well. And the MERCENARIES MODE!! Is so awesome

NO TP it is in another thread of his @ George, it is not a common thing to talk about things other than the game, but In talking with Dan ( Wonderbread) he may make an area for these kinds of things, one thing though try to keep the discussion going in one post , this way there is less clutter , sometimes navigating the forum can be complicated, I would like to merge your post into one thread but I am not too good at that. Gotta get someone who can do it easily.
