Ok so I needed to die to lose a lil xp over on armor...so I got my health down to 127 and posted my link in the chat for someone to punch kill me. the helpful chap that did the deed received this message How is it possible for them to do 1020 dmg on someone with 127 health?
Tried it again just to see if it was one off error...my health was 89 at the time the person punched, the message they got back was weird
It's the roll of the die on slap kill, I think SMACK didn't realize this when implemented LOL, It's not a true slap on death, same as if they were healed basically how it works now. In our guild, we had little discussion on it and tried it out LOL
i've only really wanted to know how much dmg i do on punch kill to see how much health they had left :-/
Somewhere between 1 and how much damage you have done The down side of the current setup is not knowing exactly how much health the player had left as you stated but the positive is this punch will qualify for your hardest punch as the damage is not capped. The ability to have an overage of dmg resulting in death is not that uncommon in gaming. I'll bring this up for discussion but knowing the exact health remaining could provided a better idea of that players allocation of Skill Points to Health which is currently private information to the player themselves.
Just seemed a bit odd, in all other aspects of the game when you kill something you don't do more damage than there is health. Like just a minute ago I done a 30 stam attack on a boss, done just under a million damage...it had 50,000 health left and i done another 30 stam attack that killed it, but i only done 50,000 damage. Same in regular fights/hitlist kills...some people do upto 7k dmg on my armor account, if i'm sat at 6k health they can kill me, but not do more than 6k dmg. *shrugs
Tried linking this thread on facebook...but when people click it they're redirected to http://forums.kanoapps.com/threads/february-25th-developer-update-ii-new-characters.3242/ That is soo shady Edit: just figured out that you can't link people to a specific thread...you need to link them to a post within a thread!
